UPDATE- After about six hours and no scent the first day I lit the candle today and it's AMAZING! It's in my kitchen and I'm enjoying the scent in the living room. ♥️ Absolutely NO smell. Very disappointing. I should see if I can send it back but it's too much trouble.

I burn these candles by my bathtub, in my bedroom and in family room. I always get compliments on what a relaxing atmosphere they create and that the scent is pleasant and not overwhelming. Men and women alike have both complimented me on the scent. Have been buying for 8+ years. Love them! They arrive very well packaged!

Quality item and love the smell!

These smell wonderful, and are very visually appealing (The glass is thick and nicely tinted, and the lids look appealing). The candle burns a little unevenly, with the wick requiring more trimming than typical, but they're overall well worth purchasing. The scent isn't overpowering, but is strong enough that left open in a room, even not burning, you'll be able to smell the lavender.

I have bought so many candles in my life that it is not even funny. Either they would give me a headache or you couldn't smell them if you burned them in a 2x2 space or they burned too quickly... Anyway, I am sure you get my point. I eventually started using essential oils in a diffuser. I did enjoy the smell but it was just a hassle. I've even tried my hand at making my own candles.HUGE mistake. 😫 I found out real quickly that I am NOT Martha Stewart. Soooo...back to candle hunting I go. At least Amazon makes it a little easier,except for the reviews. I can't understand how one person will have a totally different opinion from another. I'm not talking about whether they liked the smell or not. I'm talking about how it burned,or how long it lasted. I just decided to go with my gut.I am so glad that I did. I'm also glad that this was the first scent that I picked. I absolutely was thrilled with it. The candle burned very well and evenly. You could actually smell it outside my bedroom and it smelled wonderful (to me). So I immediately ordered 3 more different scents. Well, I wasn't as impressed with the others,but just let me clarify this for you. The candles were great as far as the burning and everything but the scents were not nearly as strong as this one (to me). I will probably try every scent eventually because they are really good candles. Hopefully I will find another one that I like. If not, I am just thrilled that I found ONE that I am happy with. So,I guess what I am saying is don't go by someone's opinion over just the smell. Everyone is different. Go by the quality of the candle. And the quality is outstanding. Smells amazing and burns for so long. Such a welcoming scent that I keep on a shelf by the front door

I am so disappointed in this candle! I was super happy when I opened it initially, because the scent is absolutely lovely. It smells natural and soothing and I was really looking forward to burning it. After the fact, I was so bummed out. If you look at my pics, it'll look like all the common candle burning mistakes - not burning it long enough, not trimming the wick, being by a draft or breeze - but I can honestly say none of those applied. I used to sell candles and I'm very careful about those things. I burned two of these and they were equally awful. 1 - the wicks are floppy, so they sag as they burn and settle in weird places. Then, next time you light it, two can be super close and one way on the other side. There's no way it can burn evenly after that. 2- There's so much candle left behind. I'm sure a lot of that has to do with the wicks. 4- They burn SO FAST. I probably burned them for about 6 hours at a time between two days and that's all I got out of them. 3 - I didn't realize how much smoke they were giving off until I noticed that they stained my FRESHLY PAINTED walls. I can't even begin to explain how upsetting this was. It took me three coats of paint to get the right color. It didn't wipe off and I don't want to scrub it and mess up the pain even more. Now I'm stuck with this hazy spot where the candle was. So, overall impression - I'll never buy these again. It's not at all what I would expect from a Newell brand. Such a disappointment.

Smells AMAZING! Perfect size!

A very mild and subtle scent. Must be placed in a small room to get the smell. I can't get the scent in my living room. Burn fast.
