Q: Does this product come with everything you need or do you need to purchase any humidifying gel separate?

It came with nothing but please do not use distilled water. So many people do this and all it does is soak the wood and causes it to stretch. Stick an 84% Boveda in there. They say 2 weeks but all people seem to be ready by 3 days.

Q: Do I need to purchase anything else for it to work?

Only distilled water for the humidifier.
