Cooler Master V8 Ver.2 CPU Air Cooler '8 Heatpipes, 1x 140mm PWM Fan, 4-Pin Connector' RR-V8VC-16PR-R2

This cooler is both beautiful and powerful, when the processor is under heavy loads it is able to keep it at optimum temperatures to keep the processor working hard without it overheating. The only issue I do have is the size of it, its so big that its almost a struggle to get it onto the motherboard let alone the case, its important to watch videos or read instructions in order to prevent damage to the motherboard due to its size and weight.

This is quite a monster - but it looks very impressive through the window! Joking apart, it does its job very well with twice the usual number of heat pipes and three heat exchangers. I was rather concerned about the weight but it comes with quite widely-spread fixings and "spider" stiffeners for the back of the motherboard. Money was restricted and I saved at least £40 when compared to water cooling whilst offering a very similar cooling capacity.

I've had this for about 3 years now.It's not the best performer in its price category. But most of the reason to buy this is because it looks cool, who wants to look at a hyper 212 in H440? My Fx-8350 at GHz runs about about 20-25° idle depending on room temp and under a heavy load reaches a maximum of 66°.during last summers heatwave. If you're not a power user or going for high over clocks this is probably overkill.Downside's are installation is awkward and Cooler-master seem to have ended support for this.So,if you're looking to upgrade to ryzen like i was, you'll have to drop this or spring for kaby lake.

A great cooler, keeps an 8 core CPU nice and cool. It is BIG so make sure you have room between your CPU and the PCI slots as with some motherboards it will overhang the primary graphics card slot. However, if you only want one graphics card installed, many motherboards work fine using the lower 16 lane card slot.

Cooler Master V8 ver.2 CPU Cooler is the one I bought. It is exactly as described and works extremely well. Could not be more pleased and I would highly recommend this. However it is large and I did have to slightly adjust my case for it to fit. Not a huge problem and I am not sorry I had to do this.

Good cooler but just so hard to attach to the mother board

I bought this to replace the standard CPU fan that came with my CPU when I built my PC a few years ago, and I now really wish I bought this one back then. It's great! looks awesome and makes a massive difference on temp.P.S. I have a Cooler Master CM Storm case and this fits perfectly.

currently using with my i7 4790k overclocked at 4.7ghz, temps hover around 75 under synthetic load (with brief peaks nudging 80). gaming load temps hover around 58-66 in the most intensive games like The Division. idle temps haver around 28-33. VERY happy with cooling performance improvement over my old stock and hyper 212 coolers. 5 stars!

grosse bête !!!! il faut une grosse tour mais il fait son effet....les leds éclairent moyen mais ça va...au moins il refroidi sans probleme

Ich nutze den Cooler Master V8 aka Die Turbine seit ein paar Wochen - alles top, vom Ruhezustand bis zur Vollast gibts nichts zu meckern. Schön leise (anfangs hat er ein bisschen gerattert, kann aber mit schrauben nachziehen leicht behoben werden), gute Kühlung und nette Optik.Allen in allem eine klare Kaufempfehlung sofern das Gehäuse genug Platz hat.Für den Einbau allerdings sollte man schon etwas geschickt sein, da sobald der Lüfter auf der Cpu steht, man an fast gar nichts mehr ran kommt --> Systematisch vorgehen, sonst passiert euch das selbe wir mir und ihr denkt ihr seid fertig und bemerkt dann doch das dass Erdungskabel nicht auf dem Mainboard sitzt... Sprich alles nochmal abbauen und neu aufbauen... Was aber eindeutig meine Schuld war.Mit Geduld sollte das alles jedoch kein Problem sein.Bei dem ersten Start war ich kurz leicht geschockt da "Die Turbine" auf 100% lief, kurzer Griff ins Bios und alles war Perfekt.Fan ctrl off : 20CFan ctrl on : 30CStart Value : 50%Sensetivitiy: 30%

Con i7-6700k va una meraviglia, mai oltre i 60 gradi dopo ore di stress test. Molto ma molto bello da vedere e non rischi perdite di liquido da sistemo AIO (all-in-one per intenderci) bruciando tutto il pc che ho sentito a volte hanno le pompe fanno un sacco di rumore oltretutto dissipando come il V8.C'e da dire che per tenere la cpu a quei livelli non e proprio silenzioso quando ci da dentro, ma ehi non si puo avere botte piena e moglie ubriaca
