Bought these to replace old strings on a newly purchased second-hand dreadnaught acoustic. Strings are well packaged and protected, play well and produce a great sound (much improved from the old set). The only issue was the 11 string snapped while being tensioned, meaning we needed to keep the old string in place for a while and buy another pack to replace it.

Straight out of the pack these have a lovely brightness and range of tone and then the develop with each play.Have broken a couple top E though during enthusiastic winding.

Does what it says on the tin.

I normally go for Elixirs but they are getting a little pricey these days . Coated strings do last longer but don't have that pure brassy tone . Ok you have to change your strings more often but pricewise and tonewise these Earthwoods are worth the hassle .
