7 black pens?!
A reminder to read the small print I suppose... Note that what you're getting here is 7 black pens (!), 4 blue, 4 green, 4 red and so on, a total of 12 colours. Unfortunately my daughter had already unpacked them by them time I noticed so I can't send these back. I'm not entirely sure I know what to do with 7 black pens... A conscious salesman would change the title from 'assorted colours' to '42 pens, in 12 different colours'.

New design, lacking quality and longevity.
When it’s not broke, don’t fix it. I’ve always loved Berol felt tips. My Gran a primary school teacher introduced me to them in my childhood and they’ve always been my go to for my own classroom and in recent years my own children. But these ‘new design’ pens are just awful. We’ve had them a month or so and half of them have run out of ink. They haven’t stood up as well as my previous purchase a long time ago. I pay the extra for Berol as in the past they have lasted a long time and it was more economic. Sad to say I’ve now paid for overpriced pens that last no longer than cheaper brands. Disappointed.

Great pens
Bought these for my 4 & 5 year old that love colouring. The pens are great, they last a long time and are lovely quality. There is around 4 of each colour pens in the pot which is perfect for children so they can each use the same colour! Stops any arguments on who is using the blue first haha.Make sure you keep an eye on price because the price has been fluctuating a huge amount. I think around £10 is what I paid and that seemed reasonable, anymore and I don’t think so.I hope this helps

These are NOT washable...
These colours are great except for one very important matter- these are NOT washable!!My children get the colours on their fingertips and hands and they do not wash off or even scrub off until their hands have been washed multiple times over 24 hours. As for getting the colours on to materials.. well a small scribble on my skirting board and the colour mark is still there. A couple of scribbles on my plastic table cover and they are still there weeks later no matter how much I scrub it off. A real disappointment.

FANTASTIC
These were a purchase for my 2 young sons (3.5 and 17 months)A nice selection of colours and you also get a few of the same colour - perfect for if the boys don't want to give up a particular colour - They are very chunky and durable; the nibs are very chunky too and can withstand the relevant amount of flack that 2 young boys will inflict upon them. The storage container is very sturdy and we just retained this to store the pens in. I love these pens and will certainly purchase again in the future. my eldest boy's pen grip has significantly improved using these felt tips and I am happy that they come off skin and out of clothes very easily. fantastic purchase

They never last and the colours aren't great. I remember when I was school that Berol ...
I have a young daughter and over the years, I've bought her felt tip pens from all types of places - although, to be honest, it's normally a pack of 10 for a pound or something. They never last and the colours aren't great.I remember when I was school that Berol was always the felt tip of choice so when I saw these, I thought she probably deserved the best - especially as she is heading to junior school in September and I don't want her colouring in to suffer! For anyone else looking to buy these, do note that although there are 42 pens in the pack, there are only 12 different colours to choose from. There are 2 or 3 pens that are the same colour. It's the most common - almost primary colours where there are 3 - e.g. red, blue, emerald green, yellow, black. Everything else will have 2.But, as expected the quality is awesome and the price is good.

Great Quality Repeated Colours
I ordered these while the black friday deals were on as I didn't feel it was worth the higher price tag due to not knowing what they were like. I do like them and the colour pay off is fantastic plus they are easy pens to hold due to the thicker size. The disappointing thing for me is that instead of being 42 different colours there are 4 of each colour and 3 of the one colour. This makes them a bit restrictive on what you can colour. To sum up great quality and colour pay off but not much variety in the choice of colours.
