Daewoo KOR6AOR 20 Litre 800 Watt Digital ECO Microwave Black/Silver Handle

Received this yesterday - 2 days ahead of free delivery scheduled date. Product arrived in original box well packaged and was unpacked, plugged in and working within a couple of minutes. I wanted a compact microwave to replace my failing much larger old microwave and I am not disappointed. (I wanted handle for opening and closing the door as opposed to a push button as this is what has broken on my existing microwave). It is exactly as I expected - sleek looking and very simple to operate (even without reading operating manual). I love the eco function that means that it's not automatically on stand-by I have other clocks in my kitchen so the digital clock function is not needed. I have used it twice to re-heat food and as that is all I ever use a microwave for I am completely satisfied that it works efficiently and was a bargain price.

After reading a whole load of reviews, chose this one for it's compact size and good ratings. It is compact as expected but still accommodates dishes/plates of reasonable size. Have to watch it for popcorn as the bag expanded is just a bit too snug and get's stuck as it expands and you have to stop and squash it in a bit at the ends.... Other than that it works very well and even though just 800 watt, itMisses out on one star because it also is not the quietest and sits in the corner of the work surface and sounds a bit like a small grumbly bear when it's working .... to me at least ... which some may find disconcerting! Other thing that is that the buttons are underneath the time slots and if you're not aware (eg visitors who want to help and not wearing their glasses) can spend a while trying to push the the wrong bit and getting frustrated with it. There is a Sharp microwave where I work which also sounds like it is chewing something up ready to spit it out and that has lasted years. The previous microwave I had was a Sharp based on this but didn't work anywhere near as well - so not all within the same brand are equally good but this Daewoo as a basic microwave is very good.

Excellent microwave and easy to use once I'd adjusted to different buttons from my previous one. I was surprised at how small the interior was as the dimensions given were the outer ones and I had no reason to think the inside would be much smaller. However, it fits my largest dinner plates and I haven't had any issues.Looks good and the Eco button that saves power is a real plus. Smart,easy to clean and works well.

I waited a while before writing a review to see how it fares up to my last microwave . It has been brilliant ! Very easy to use, great for saving a bit of energyBUTThe inside is rather small and doesn't fit most the plates I own . Which I can get around just be aware.A year into use the inside has started eroding and cooking itself and peeling .

Was looking for a smaller volume microwave which would suit the current kitchen décor while also being a prudent buy and this ticked all those boxes. Bought this in Jan 2013 from Amazon (not a seller).It works well and warms food & drinks evenly, which was a concern I had as a previous more expensive model did not.My only concern is that the door steams up whenever it is used. This has not happened with other microwaves I have used (due to smaller volume?) but I hope that it means nothing as in all other aspects it is great.I am happy it has an eco function, it gave me more incentive to purchase this product over others.The delivery seemed difficult as when checking the delivery tracking it stated that a delivery had been attempted and a card had been left when it hadn't. When checked a couple of days later, it had said delivery had been completed. . .. when it hadn't. Called Amazon customer services and they sorted it all out. Later, on checking 'my orders' saw that the original delivery had been returned to Amazon so I have no idea what happened there as I rarely have a problem with Amazon deliveries.

This microwave was bought as a replacement for an old one that was on it's way out. The delivery was fine and it came within a couple of days, after unpacking and unwrapping it, I opened the door of the microwave and found there was a loose screw rolling about inside, not really what you want to find before even plugging the thing in, The microwave has a really nice look to it and looked really classy. I plugged the microwave in after reading the instructions and tested it by heating a cup of coffee that had gone cold while I did the unpacking. the vibration and noise from it.was horrendous. a bit like a helicopter takeing off, the only way to stop this was to press heavily on the right hand side of it to stopp the vibration.. The coffee, I have to admit re-heated perfectly. By this time my Wife had came into the kitchen to see what all the racket was all about, so I decided to show her by heating a cup of cold water as a demonstration, after placing the cup inside and pressing start.....Alas nothing happened, the wicrowave was totally dead, and nothing would get it going again.So to sum up, Great looks, Nice size. Completely useless..... That's the microwave not me. filled out the returns details and Amazon collected and refunded me within few days

I've never been entirely comfortable using a microwave for too many reasons to get into now but this is definitely the most suitable for someone like me; energy efficient, effective, environmentally friendly that switches itself off when not in use and also looks good. If I were to be very picky, I'd add that the spinning mechanism is not as great as could be, perhaps because one needs to use a smaller than average plate for heating food. Other than that, I can't fault it at all and best thing is that I don't feel guilty for using it! Great buy and extremely good price! Get one!
