This is an excellent product. Yes, there's iCloud, DropBox and all manner of ways to transfer data between a macOS device and an iOS device but sometimes you just want to plug a disk in and do the transfer that way. The dual connector on this flash drive works fine and at 128GB it has decent capacity.You'll need to download the iPlugMate software to get the necessary interface on iOS (and that works fine) but as far as macOS is concerned it's just a standard USB stick.It's probably a little expensive but I'm not going to quibble at that, so it's the full five stars from me.

I looked carefully at the various products on the market before purchasing the Hoo Too. Delivery was very quick and, after one or two minor hiccups on my part, I am finding the Hoo Too to be an extremely useful storage tool for the iPhone. It seems to be solidly built and is compact.All in all, this was a very good buy for me.

Brilliant for transferring photos from phone and put into folders, my biggest gripe on the iPhone is the way it transfers photographs, but this is definitely the answer.

Excellent peace of kit. Bought two of them. Works brilliantly with iPad and all my Macs and Windows machines, ohh , and it can be locked so no-one else can read it. My iPad now has an extra 128GB of storage for movies, pictures, presentations and documents. Despite repeated efforts, over more than a year, I am finding this thing next to useless. It is extremely counterintuitive in operation and, above all, unclear in function.I purchased this device some time ago, when my iPad storage was beginning to run low. It seemed to offer the perfect solution. Due to the vagaries of this device, however, with its cluttered and unfathomable format, I now desperately need to clear image files from my iPad (which has become close to full), in order to continue using it.I grow evermore tired and disenchanted in my efforts with this convoluted, unclear and unreliable stick - which inexplicably shows multiple copies of images, long-deleted images, incomplete groups out of sequence and jumbled, a mass of useless, blank icons where there should be thumbnail images and, perhaps worst amongst its many failings, is unable to even find vast numbers of images altogether.I have managed (more through luck than clarity), to copy images to it and sort them into some (albeit incomplete), order; while even far more competent helpers simply cannot transfer or find other images at all.As a result, I am unwilling and unable to delete hundreds of image files from my iPad, for fear of permanent loss and, therefore, cannot free up the operating and storage capacity I so desperately need - The whole purpose behind buying this thing in the first place.Put simply, I do not trust it.

I read the reviews for this online as I wasn’t sure which to get and it was between this and the Ixpand flash drive. I saw this on offer so decided to go with this one ( I would suggest waiting until offers come up for money off as they are expensive). 128gb ordered but you don’t get 128gb storage you get about 117.9gb which is ok but it should be clearer in the sale info but it works fuss free so I’m not overly unhappy.The Plugware app from the App Store was two seconds to install and it makes using hootoo easy.Couple of points if you have a lot to transfer make sure you have 100% battery as it can take awhile to transfer data over. I transferred 23,000 photos and videos roughly 60gb over to the hootoo and it took approx 3- 4 hours.You can’t charge your phone and transfer as only one port on iPhone.There is a usb at the other end to then transfer the data over to a laptop unfortunately my laptop won’t recognise some of the photo files from the hootoo/ iPhone even though I can clearly see them on the phone and on the hootoo fine.Ive used it on an iPhone 8 and iPhone 11pro max.

Technology drives me mad because every time i buy something that’s supposed to make my life easier, i find myself having to basically learn a new computer skill. Not this. Download 1 app. Plug it in and go into your camera roll, select the pictures you want to move and just tap copy. . . And that’s it. So Simple

Impressed with it, this is the easiest way to back up your pics from iPhone without using iTunes which is not very good for this. Worked fine and backed up 10000 pics in about 45 mins which is pretty good. Simple to use.
