this is mixed reviews about this item but i find it good quality and my tortoise loves it it is good value for money i use two of these and i have them and save and subscribe there is no smell to these at all and i buy monthly and have done for 3 years now with no issues at all with smell the bag is strong and its 10l which is enough to do half of my enclose sure it why i get two the size is a good sized bag and good value for money

Impressed for first time use
This has worked really well with my Tortoises house. It does get transferred into her water but isn't a problem, easy to filter out. Easy to keep clean

Not the best substrate for a tortoise but does the job
This is not really the best substrate you can buy for your tortoise and something like cocoair would be a much better alternative as it keeps moisture much better than this option. However for the price this is not a bad option for temporary substrate and could be used if no alternatives are available.
