Best revision book for UKMLA, honestly has everything with good buzzwords useful for exams and best purchase ever.

This is exactly what you need to get you through clinical phase. I haven’t had to make any separate revision notes as it’s all in this book. It’s laid out well and so easy to reference. I’ve just added a few of my own notes to it. Very happy with it, covers all MLA outcomes

Ideal for those sitting MLA

Content of book is great for revision. Enough detail without being too much. However, the book arrived damaged and dirty. It was just in a cardboard envelope without any additional packaging to protect it.

Medicine in a day has been a great revision tool! I find the one line round ups at the end of each chapter particularly helpful. With the physical copy you have the option to access the information digitally as well - this allows you to create your own flashcards which on the Elsevier platform which is great!Each condition is covered succinctly without being overly detailed, which makes it great near exam time. Great detail has been paid to providing images of conditions on different skin tones - which is particularly helpful when learning dermatology.I would highly recommend this book for finals but would be useful to medical students at any stage of their clinical years.

I am a health professional and I like what I am doing. I am very interested in anatomy although I find it quite extensive and sometimes complicate to remember.This book, other than being much cheaper than I thought, is very interesting and it makes you want to read it with more interest considering the fact that you can read and study a subject, like neurology, orthopedics, and pediatrics for example in about an hour each. So you can get a target, you could concentrate for one hour every day and read all the book in less than one month. There are 24 chapters.Made well, quite detailed, more than I thought, with images to make it more interesting.It has a content list with pages and also "how to use this book" which I find very handy (at the beginning of the book) and an index at the end of it.It has more than 658 pages because the first pages are numbered with Roman numerals.This book is now discounted at £ 30.71.Highly recommended.

As a 4th year medical student, now having to revise multiple specialties every year to pass exams, this book has been a great addition to my revision tools. It contains content all the specialties covered so far and more in more easy to understand language and layout than just lecture slides. I don't feel like I need to sit down with multiple heavier books as this one feels like an all in one for revision purposes.Written by junior doctors, I know it's going to be a concise and relevant summary of each specialty, detailing mainly pertinent diseases, topics and key facts. High yield topics have been chosen and discussed. The high quality images included show physical aspects of disease on a variety of skin tones.The book features images, tables and figures along with a well balanced amount of writing to match them, which has aided me in remembering important information along with tips and tricks to remember tedious lists of differentials and facts.I'm really glad Elsevier has come out with a book that is so relevant to getting through exams!

Brilliant reference and revision textbook for any medical student. Good quality paperback, was shrinkwrapped on arrival and is bigger than expected with over 600 pages of content. Seems well laid out and covers a wide range of conditions and study topics suitable for most, if not all stages of medical study. Comes with an ebook download code for an electronic version which is great and modern idea.Things in the medical world change all the time so ensure you have the most up to date version, this of which is 2022-23 edition. Very pleased with this book.
