The colours are great and stage-managers might find this stuff useful for floor markings. I last used it for putting stripes on several identical black u-locks to tell them apart. But in everyday use it's a pain. It's really hard to tear - you need scissors - and it rarely tears clean. If you ever used proper quality duck tape (it was originally called duck tape) you'll know it tears easily when you need it to, doesn't fold back on itself, and comes off clean. This stuff does none of those.

Not had product long enough to make full evaluation, hence 4 star ratings in some categories.

Exactly what it says it is, good quality gaffer tape, lovely to have a range of colours and difficult to beat at that price

Whilst good value for 6 rolls, and lovely colours, this tape is pretty average (like most 'gaffer' tapes on amazon).I used it for its colourful nature in what was essentially an 'art' project - I taped a pretty woman to the floor for a music video (she enjoyed it) - but what we didn't enjoy was the nasty gluey residue left behind on the floor from this tape, and how difficult it was to tear.If you want something strong, like gaffer tape used to be back in the day, don't get this. Wanted it to mark seats on school coach runs did the job perfectly

I used this for taping together bamboo poles to construct the base for a large temporary sculpture. I'm afraid I can't give a positive review. Most duct tape tears in two directions. This tape tears as it pleases. All tape sticks best to itself. This tape is so flimsy it takes devilish pleasure in turning in on itself and becoming unusable. I work in a cool dry environment so was surprised when I came in next morning and found that about 50% of the tape had suddenly become unstuck, even where it had stuck to itself. I had to go over it all again with a better quality tape.

Hand set of gaffer tape. My son got a job as a runner on a Film set & needed a set of materials for the job. This was one item he needed - different coloured tape. It’s great that I can click on this & Amazon can send it to him the next day. Otherwise it would have been a trip to a DIY shop & then the post office. The tape came in very useful.
