Solar System Scratch and Sketch: An Art Activity Book for Inquisitive Artists and Astronauts of All Ages (Scratch & Sketch) Spiral-bound – 1 Feb. 2006

I bought this for my friends son who loves anything to do with the solar system. He's nine years old and I was concerned that the book would be a little young for him.In truth, he finished the book in two days but he also loved it and it kept him entertained in that time.I would recommend this as a gift for nine year olds and below.

This was a present for my Grandson and he was delighted.On the left-hand page there is a solar system/space related picture with text explaining it. On the right-hand page there is a blank page with black covering. When you use the supplied wooden pencil, it removes the black top layer to reveal stunning metallic colours.Recommended!

I have bought a lot of these as my grandson will sit for hours doing them. He likes the ones that are already drawn so he can colour in but sadly there are not many of these. Only draw back is his hands get black after scratching off the black covering. I have to give him damp cloths to keep hand clean, other than that they are really good, even I like having a go.

Had this delivered yesterday, was no good at all. Ive returned it today was not happy with it at all. My daughter has had 2 of these in past, a mermaid and unicorn one, she loved both. But this solar system one must be faulty.All of the pages were blank, tried scratching first page but not even any colour or pattern underneath. Such a shame as my daughter was excited to do this one. Looking at last couple reviews with same issue looks like there may be a faulty batch?!!

Brought this as a present and was very much enjoyed.

A couple of the pages were faulty (the black covering had huge air bubbles underneath) but apart from that my son loves it. Kept him quiet for a good couple of hours and as well as the drawing and copying pictures he learnt about the solar system too!

love it, all children enjoy this range and plenty of choice. Great stocking filler or gift idea for the many parties children seem to get invited to.
