Spartan MusicElectric/Bass Guitar Fretboard & String Cleaner + Microfibre Cloth

Really handy, versatile, and simple piece of kit. One star less as each of the 'covers' isn't actually that thin (which makes sense as they accommodate the cleaning pads), so you'll have to really slacken the strings on the guitar (acoustic and electric; probably not so much of a minor hassle on a Spanish guitar where the action is a bit higher than on an a jumbo or dreadnought acoustic). Good value for money, nevertheless.

The pads are not very soft and I have some difficult to clean the 2nd fret, I believe because I have a 5 strings electric bass and the first string is too thick, anyway I would have liked it to be thinner . I like the cover to store the item clean and tidy and the additional cloth is good.

I've only had my guitar a couple of months and it's surprising how dusty it is under the strings, even with practicing most days. Needed something to clean the strings and fretboard and this seemed ideal. You need to losten the stings to get to fret 1 but that's no great hardship. It probably needs some liquid the help the fretboard so that's the next thing on the shopping list.

Can be difficult to use as you get to the top of the fretboard as you have to be careful you don't break your strings doing this. Its much better than cloth though and doesn't leave a deposit like clothes leave. This will pre long the life of the strings cleaning them like this after every session. It wont last forever but worth getting I recommend this.

Very simple to use which is a major help for someone who loathes regular string & fretboard upkeep. I have an ESP Eclipse and it struggles to get to fret 1 & 2, but that’s nothing the cloth that is provided can’t reach.Would definitely recommend if you need a quick and easy way to give your strings and fretboard a wipe after playing.

Arrived yesterday. I haven't had the chance to use it yet but I look forward to it. I've got quite acidic fingers and need to wipe down the strings every time I touch them so this is a pretty cool idea!

Not yet used, as it is a present for my son. However, the product looks good, nice quality and packaging, and should be easy and effective to use.

I wish I’d invented this! One application and my strings were as new, sounding fresh and clear.
