Thule Gauntlet 3.0 Envelope Sleeve for 13-Inch MacBook Air - Black

03/01/2016: This product is just what one needs to keep a MacBook Air protected from scratches and provides some impact protection too. I have been using it for 5 months now. It also serves as a serving tray for coffee mugs and a hard surface to right on and seems to do so with gusto. I can definitely recommend it for excellent protection. The Velcro lock is pretty tight and needs some force to open so your MacBook would not easily slip out of the sleeve. For charging I tend to keep the sleeve open with the MacBook sticking up just enough to connect the MagSafe2 connector and Bob's your uncle. This is a fantastic protector and I could not recommend it highly enough. With regards to the above mentioned impact protection I would have to limit it's protective capability to low altitude impacts onto heavy ground. My sleeved MacBook fell from around 2 feet high onto stone tiles and did not show any indentations or damage. I am sure it's not been designed as an impact protector and I avoid dropping my electronic devices at all cost but knowing that it could protect a little bit gives me an additional feeling of security.

Just received this sleeve and very pleased to say that it fits my 13” MacBook Pro just fine!Admittedly is was a risk, and I could not find anyone else discussing or reviewing its fit with the 13” MacBook Pro, (it is for a MacBook Air after all), but thankfully there is no issue. I was looking for a decent sleeve type case that did not have a zip, but Velcro instead. I’ve owned Thule bags before and been very impressed, so I was confident in the make, design and build of this product.Only negatives...- It might be Thule, but it is too expensive for what it is. More like £20 (max) is a realistic price.- I would like the Velcro cover to span the whole side, rather than the gaps at either end.This is still doing what I expected, as I did my research prior to purchasing. MacBook Pro owners, consider this item!

I bought this for my iPad Pro 12.9 inch. I have a third party silicon case case and a apple smartcover on. The sleeve fit perfectly, quite snugg with a bit of resistant when pushing the iPad all the way in. I prefer a hard case sleeve and this is the only one I have been able to find on the market for the big iPad Pro. The 25 year warranty gives me enough confident that this will last. I don't have a Smart Keyboard case to try but I think anything thicker than my current setup will be too tight.

Having just bought a MacBook Air 11" I spent some time looking for the perfect protective case for it. The Thule Gauntlet 3.0 has filled all my expectations. It looks good and is a perfect fit for the wedge shaped MacBook Air. Whilst it barely adds anything to the neat size of the Macbook it feels sturdy enough to protect it from any knocks whilst in transit. Highly recommended.

Purchased this case for my Ipad Pro 9.7 the case is well made and gives good protection my Ipad Pro 9.7 has the smart Keyboard and the Apple silicon cover fitted it fits in snuggly and space left for my apple pencil as well :)

A neat case, fits the machine well. It wasn't our first choice as the next size up has a carry handle which we would have preferred but it fits neatly into a bag or rucksack.

Using his for NEW Apple iPad Pro, fits like a dream

I bought it to replace the old one of the previous model and it disappointed me a lot. Thin material and smaller size. It doesn't look like it is going to protect the mac. I gave it to a friend and kept my old (and sturdy) one.
