Informative ..sent to grandson ...age 6 ...not too bothered about it...

Bought as a gift and sent to the recipent so I never saw it.The feedback I got was that it is an excellent 'first time' book for childeren, good layout and easy to read.Ideal introduction to the world of nature.

Was initially disappointed with the size of the book but with hindsight realised it is a perfect size to take out whilst exploring the great outdoors as a reference book and fits perfectly into a backpack.

Lovely book

A lovely book bought as a gift for an 8 year old boy along with a pair of binoculars. He loves to "spy" for things and then look them up in his book. Brilliant!

Ideal to give to our granddaughter for her 9th birthday - clearly written and well laid out with lots of good information.
