The BT Youview+ HD Set Top Box can receive the same channels through your aerial as a freeview box.  The number of channels available will depend on your location.Up to 150 channels can be received but the number of channels available depends on your location.The current maximum number of TV channels available, ignoring Radio, +1s +24s, duplicate SD/HD, shopping and 'adult', it is currently about 46, but depends on your circumstances.  It can be less.Including 'channel' numbers that only broadcast for part of the day, and including channels labelled 'shopping' or 'adult':(1) 7 out of 10 homes have available about 106 TV, 7 data, 40 radio and 3 streaming channels(2) Most other homes have available about 92 TV, 7 data, 39 radio and 3 streaming channels(3) Some homes have  available about 26 TV, 1 data, 23 radio(4) A few homes cannot receive freeviewTo find out what sort of area you live in you could dig on-line but the easiest is to ask your neighbours who have aerials. Do you get the amc channel

It is possible to get the AMC channel on the BT Youview+ but you will need to have BT as the provider of your internet plus you will need to take out a BT TV subscription.  But if you did that you could get to own the same box from BT for free or at a very reduced price.
