Is this clay any good for military diorama's please ?

This is a difficult question as I only bought this for my grandchildren to play with. They have made quite a few models - mainly of dragons, mice and monsters. The clay molds well and will hold its shape easily but fine pieces such as small dragons feet break off when dry. If your models are substantial in thickness they should be alright but anything that is thin will need reinforcement with matchsticks or something similar. Whilst sourcing this I came across a bandage which is coated in plaster of paris and when soaked it can be wrapped around some models to give strength. We have used it mainly around cardboard buildings and it works really well. Hope this helps. Sandra

No it is not waterproof you need to use a sealer for outside they still disintegrate after time

Could you make an oil lamp with this clay?

I am not sure that this would work. I think the clay would be too fragile when dried. I think you need something that you voild fire and glaze.

Can you put it in the oven after it’s dried?

No, not in an oven, only in a kiln at 1000 celcius. It’s air drying though, so it dries without heat.
