Emollient For Dry Skin - 500g

Usually a lovely and soothing product but my most recent order with and through Amazon, a chunk of the emoilent was cut out already from the tub. I cannot get replacement from Amazon so I had to ask for a refund and make a new order. This time, I am using another supplier. It will come later than needed but I would like to know how and why such a thing can happen.

I normally use the dispenser of Epaderm cream from Amazon. It’s great for my dry skin. but couldn’t find it on Amazon so brought the tub. Used it once and it dried my skin out so badly I threw it in the dustbin .

I bought this based on the positive reviews and the fact that this was suitable for eczema/dermatitis, however my skin had a bad reaction (red, irritated itchy skin) every time I would apply this and had to buy some cortisone-based cream elsewhere instead. Unfortunately I will either give it or throw this away because it is not even covered by the return policy.

As someone who has lived with eczema all their life, this product did not work for me. Did not prevent dryness in the same way emulsifying ointment does. Became a thin, milk-like consistency when used in the shower so instantly washed off, leaving nothing to help moisturise. Curious to know exactly how this was “developed by dermatologists”. Won’t be purchasing again.

Caused my son’s skin to become hot and hurt him it must have been burning him (he’s 3 he just told me it hurt) the area I applied it to felt hot to touch so washed it straight off

Unfortunately this product did not work for me. In fact it made the eczema on my hands ten times worse. It's like it was burning my skin as I ended up with lots of tiny blisters on my hands. I had to stop using it.

This is described as an "emollient". It is not. It is an "ointment" Emollients are white and creamy. Ointments are greasy. Returns policy says that I can't get a refund. That is very poor as the product has been incorrectly described.

Caused a rash threw it away after several attempts. Found the tub was strong enough to store screws.

Mycket bra salva mot eksem. Eksemet är praktiskt taget borta efter ett par veckor.

I like this cream. My kids and myself have very dry skin and up here in the nord winter doesn't spare you. The texture of it: melts after few seconds of robbing in the palms eventhough it comes in a balm form. It is versatile, you can add to your bath or use it after a shower. It calms and appeases my kids irritated skin from dryness and other issues (sometimes nappy rash) Personally I use it on my lips as a moisturizer because I have tried everything under "lip balm/remedy" for my extremely chapped lips (winter especially) and this is the only thing that works!! The quantity is great it will take you a while. A bit costly when compared to others in the range. My only issues it shipping takes a little while and cost of shipping is high too since most often it comes from UK. I love and recommend it.

Works great for a barrier cream . Very moisturizing. Helpful for lychen sclerosis.
