I have used Nads nose wax in the past; initially as part of a joke I found I much preferred using it to trimming my nostrils with clippers and haven't looked back. When I came to buy a new pot this time I stumbled over the Simon & Tom version - and at almost third of the price of Nads, I decided to try it. After all, surely wax is wax and any formulated to be stuck up your nose is bound to be relatively gentle. The first time I tried it, I noticed some differences between it and Nads. This melts a lot more consistently in my microwave - it's possible my microwave is at fault, but the Nads tends to either remain semi solid or get so hot it could burn through an engine block; it's tricky to find the sweet spot. The Simon & Tom wax melted perfectly however and was ready to go within minutes. It smells OK (I wouldn't describe it as yummy but it isn't offensive either). The applicator is the main difference - the applicators included with Nads are wider but you get more with Simon & Tom (something I've never understood; the wax is useless without the applicators and you get a lot of wax - why not include enough applicators to use more than 1/3 pot of wax?). The different shape means that Nads is more successful at getting more hair at the opening of your nostril in one go but are impossible to insert too far. The Simon & Tom applicators are much taller and narrower and as such get hair from slightly deeper within the nose but can't get everything at the opening in one hit - having more of them means you can use a couple without issue if you don't get all the stragglers on your first attempt. If Simon & Tom (or Nads) were to adapt their applicator design to either give a slightly wider base (or longer tip) or perhaps to include a couple of different shaped applicators within each pack, that would be perfect and give the potential for better results. After all, everyone's nose is different! As for performance I think the Nads wax just edges it, but it's a difficult metric to measure when you're forcibly ripping nasal hair out. The pain is surprisingly little - it's no more painful than pulling a single hair out of your nose with tweezers. It's almost like the brain can't comprehend the level of pain that pulling 50% of the hair out of your nose in one go should generate. Once done, beautifully smooth nostrils are yours, enabling you to suddenly breathe deeper, smell things more clearly and register small amounts of surprise at just how cold early morning air is. Overall, Nads make a better performing wax than Simon & Tom, but not 3 times better and as such is massively overpriced in comparison - I won't be switching back.

I decided to try this product although reticent. I am a bit rubbish at waxing legs etc. It never seems to work out. I was getting fed up with the nose trimmer which only worked when it wanted to and even though a good brane (Braun) it was not up to the job. So I took the plunge. I have to admit that it totally exceeded my expectations. The wax took a lot longer to melt than was stated but I managed to sort that out. The instructions were very clear. Stick to the instructions and you won't go wrong. It really does not hurt, that really surprised me. It states to discard of the sticks at one use. I decided to wait for the wax to dry then remove it, disinfect and use again. I did this because I felt that the wax/ stick balance was not accurate. I hope you find this helpful.

I've brought an almost identical product twice before, saw this and thought I'd try it out. I've always struggled with nasal hair. Plucking is not an option, it's incredibly painful and slow. Using clippers leaves a sharp stubble that itches like hell once they start to grow back. Waxing despite the stigma is relatively painless and there is a sort of sick pleasure pulling the applicator out and seeing the results! I will admit I sent pics to a lot of my friends! WAX The Yoffee wax has a lid. Easier to store after use, feels a little more hygienic when reusing. It has a more appealing smell due to the bees wax. There was no wax left in my nostril after application. A problem I have had with other brands. It also feels nicer after. Other waxes have left the inside of my nostril feeling a little raw. APPLICATORS The original kit I've used comes with 8 sticks compared to yoffee's 10. However the yoffee sticks are smaller. And don't reach as far into the nose. But saying that I was able to reuse the stick for an immediate second application in the same nostril allowing me to get a few of the tougher stragglers. You cannot do this with other products. IN THE BOX 10 applicators, a pot of wax and an instruction This differs from the alternative which has added antibacterial wipes, oil wipes, a lolly pop stick to stir the wax, novilty moustache protectors and the applicator has a second function. USE The instructions are easy to follow I would leave it up there for 90 seconds, this give you 30 seconds to build up the courage to yank it out before it's stuck there for life! I likes the product and would buy it again but may still need to use trimmers for those slightly out of reach hairs. Overall a professional and efficient product.

Have used nose waxing in the past but with this kit there is no wastage as you can keep reheating the wax in the same container, just buy some more applicators. No waste unlike the other products, so in the long run much more economical

Packaging and product description reads '10 applicator sticks' I only got 9! Really disappointed, now have to reuse one twice (not good). Also instructions read heat wax for 2 minutes which is not true, that did nothing. I heated it for 10 minutes only then it was fit for use. However, that aside it is a really good product and not messy at all. Also does not hurt at all! Would recommend this to others. Due to a missing applicator and incorrect heating advice I have marked this product down by two stars. Otherwise it is good.

Try another brand. I used one disc in 900w microwave. Heated in bursts of 30 seconds. Took 6 mins before I started to see the middle melt a little but had to stop at this point because I noticed the plastic inside the door of the microwave had started to melt. Nothing had ever done this before and I put things in there for longer than that!! Did not get to use the wax at all. Waste of money and it’s going straight in the bin. Don’t buy

Tried it for the first time today. The wax didn't melt in 2 minutes as stated. Took 4 minutes & only then a very small part had melted. However that was sufficient for my needs. I was a little worried that putting it in the microwave may result in the wax becoming too hot but the temperature was fine. The applicator design means use is really easy. Removal of the wax was dead easy too & very efficient & suprisingly painless. Really pleased with it. My only grouch is that the applicators are supposed to be disposable but as replacements are not available seperately (you have to buy a complete new kit), I will be cleaning & reusing mine. Wouldnt be doing this if I was using it commercially but as it's only for me, it's fine. Do think the replacements applicators should be sold though so come on Yoffee!!!!

As a hairy guy with a beard, having hair poking out of my nose always bothered me. I used trimmers for a while but they left me with that inner-nostril stubble that results in being asked if you have a cold every day at work. Last year i thought i would try tweezers, they are very effective but its time consuming and plucking out hair after hair generally left me with my eyes watering. So i saw these things, thought i would give them a shot. Microwaved the pot of wax (nice sweet smell), made sure it wouldn't burn me, stuck it in, set the stopwatch to two minutes and waited it out. Pulling that out of your nose is a bit disorientating, like getting hit in the face minus the pain. I have to say it was indeed quite painless (I'm going to do you all the favour of not adding a photo). Most effective nose hair removal method I've used so far, will probably use these every 2-4 weeks depending on how fast this grows back and when they run out I'm going to order more. The thought of sticking wax up your nose seems a bit weird but its a great product, works very well.

I'm a guy who gets really, really thick nasty nose hair. I get mustache hair growing up in there, like the nose hair follicles got confused about where they were setting up camp and started growing stuff in the wrong place. The worst thing about them was how all those hairs would tickle my nose and make it itch really bad. Super annoying. Tried trimmers, but they only work so well. The majority of my nuisance-class hairs grow right up in the very front of the inside of my nose, right inside the ball where they serve absolutely no purpose other than to annoy. I finally broke down and bought this stuff. And then I let it sit on my desk for two days. I was dragging my feet about using it because I wasn't sure how it would perform, how messy it would be, and whether it would hurt, and if so how much. So anyway, I finally put the little pot of wax into the microwave and nuked it for four minutes. It actually needed more time, about six minutes total. Once at least some of it turns to liquid, you're set to go. By the way, in case you're wondering, the melting point of this stuff doesn't feel hot at all. It was pleasantly warm to my delicate nasal passages, so as long as you don't go total overkill on the heating process, you won't even get remotely close to burning yourself. So I go right for the target area of my most hated nasal residents right at the front of my nose. I dipped those little applicators into the wax, and shoved them up the front of my nose. You have to let the wax set for about 90 seconds before removing the sticks. I was a bit nervous at this point, because I have plucked nose hairs before and it doesn't feel good. How was the wax going to feel? I kept an eye on the clock, and when it was time, I grasped those applicators firmly, took a deep breath, and yanked them out. To my utter shock and delight, I didn't feel a thing. No pain at all. It was surprising. But I think most of this can be explained in how I executed the process. You have to have complete resolve when doing this. Yank those sticks out of your nose like you would yank your hand out of a fire. Do it quick, do it decisively, and it probably won't hurt much. It didn't hurt at all in my case. I ended up using all ten applicators to deforest as much of my nose as I could in one session. The wax remained liquid up to the end of my session, and I imagine it will do the same for anyone else as long as you don't waste time. There are some nice-nasty people out there who would be grossed out by this recommendation, but I would recommend that you clean off and reuse the applicator sticks. You end up with a ton of wax left in the pot, and of course Yoffee wants you to throw away the applicators and buy more, but cleaning these things off is super easy. You can make the cleaning process hard on yourself, but I'm going to tell you the easy way to do this. The trick to cleaning these things off super easy is to let the wax COMPLETELY COOL AND HARDEN. This is critical. If you don't wait until the wax is completely hardened on the applicators, it will be like trying to scrape recently used, soft gum off, and that sucks. It took me a few attempts to figure this out. Let the wax completely harden and cool. Once this has happened, simply grasp the wax between your fingers, and twist it like you're twisting the cap off a small bottle. It will pop and pull right off the applicator, and the applicator will look as though it was never used. Rinse and repeat for all the remaining applicators, put them back in their little baggy, and keep them on hand to use for the next go 'round. Throw them out once the pot is empty of wax and you're ready to buy another kit. Seriously, I can't recommend this stuff enough. If you're on the fence even a little bit, go buy it. Now.

Prima di tutto l'ho voluta testare anche su mio marito, che di solito non sopporta la ceretta... e invece si è ricreduto! 😄 Anche lui ha notato quanto lo strappo sia delicato. Io l'ho usata per i peli del naso e sono rimasta davvero sorpresa: niente classica lacrimuccia! 🥹 Anzi, trovo molto più doloroso usare le pinzette che questa cera. Un solo dischetto dura davvero tantissime applicazioni, quindi il prodotto è anche conveniente. Si può tranquillamente scaldare a bagnomaria, tenendo il fornello al minimo. 👍 L'unico consiglio che posso dare è di prenderci un po' la mano: bisogna far aderire bene la cera alla forma della propria narice. Per i peli più interni, vicino alla punta del naso, aiuta schiacciare leggermente la punta durante l'applicazione. Le prime volte dovevo ripetere la ceretta 3-4 volte nella stessa narice; ora, con un po' di pratica, basta un solo strappo ed è tutto pulito! ✨ In conclusione, la cera è davvero eccellente: serve solo un po' di esperienza per sfruttarla al meglio. La ricomprerei senza alcun dubbio! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Très bon produit, il fonctionne très bien et l'utilisation est assez simple. La cire permet de retirer efficacement les poils du nez et le kit est pratique avec les différents applicateurs. Globalement très satisfait du résultat.

La verdad, es que, hablando claro, acojona eso de meterte cera caliente en las fosas nasales y luego dar un tirón de la leche. Claro, que no es lo mismo un tirón en la pantorrilla que en la nariz. ¿Cuál es el truco? Hay dos: - PRIMERO: Cuidado con pasarse calentando la cera. Dependiendo de la potencia del microondas llevará más o menos tiempo. No tiene que estar caliente, sino diluida. La mía llegó completamente sólida y llevó bastante tiempo diluirla. Hay que ir vigilando poco a poco el estado de la cera. Repito: no tiene porqué estar caliente. - SEGUNDO: En las instrucciones indica que se debe dejar el palito metido en la fosa mínimo 90 segundos. Sugiero que probéis con 1 minuto, PERO MINUTO DE CRONÓMETRO. A mi con un minuto me ha ido estupendo. Si os pasáis con el tiempo, os pasará como a uno de por por aquí, que luego no había quien sacara eso de la napia. Importante también sólo impregnar de cera la bolita del palo, y no la base. No pasa nada porque se manche un poquito, pero es preferible que no, porque luego esa cera hay que quitarla con los dedos, con algún pellizquito sin importancia. Ojito con los/las que tengáis bigote. Cuidado de que no os caiga cera ahí. Antes de comprar este producto busqué vídeos de usuarios en Youtube y seguí su consejo. Los palitos arrancapelos se pueden reutilizar. Los metes en el congelador, esperas a que se endurezca la cera y luego lo despegas del palito casi sin problemas. Ahora voy a atajar lo que todo el mundo teme: EL TIRÓN. ¿Duele? Pues flipad, porque no duele en absoluto. No lloran los ojos, ni hay sangre ni nada de nada. Hay que hacerlo con decisión y de un tirón seco. Me sorprendió bastante, la verdad. Si no os veis capaces de hacéroslo vosotros mismos, que tire otra persona. Pero como os digo, una vez pasado el minuto no demoréis mucho el tiempo porque entonces sí habrá problemas. Además, la cera tiene un olor muy agradable. A mi personalmente no me causó ninguna irritación, fue bastante rápido, cómodo y sin dolor. La sensación es que respiras mucho mejor. Y a nivel estético también está muy bien, para esos pelillos feos que asoman por la nariz. También he visto que se puede hacer tumbado, para que la cera penetre más. Preferiblemente si te lo va a hacer otra personal, porque para hacerlo una persona sola es complicado al estar tumbado. Y lo que sorprende es la cantidad de pelos que salen pegados. Es a la vez asqueroso y gratificante.
