We have played this game twice and both times found it very enjoyable. There are 3 levels of intimacy from very basic stuff to just tease ease other through to performing oral etc. You go from eating food seductively to eating it off each other, kissing gently on the lips to passionate kissing. It didn't do as much for me as my girlfriend but there was something hot about having to wait. It's definitely more fun while drinking as the game suggests even if you are open about doing things, but especially if either of you are a bit shy about trying things. For anyone who has read negative things about this game, there are a couple of things that are a bit soft but that's the idea of the game. I'm sure the reviewer who said none of this is exciting was written by a typical man. The game builds up slowly and has very personal questions you ask each other, which helps you learn things you wouldn't normally ask about. I will admit there are some strange questions like 'What is your favourite tree/plant?' As a couple who have nothing to do with horticulture, it seemed a bit stupid but cards like this are rare. Even as a very close couple, we still learned things about each other e.g. A question asked 'What have you achieved/done that you're very proud of?' The game does go on to some kinky stuff on the hottest level such as eating food off each others 'intimate bits' and again there are a couple of odd ones like putting a head bobble over your erect penis...i advise against this 1 but as before, the majority are very hot and sexy and even though we are fairly adventurous, there were quite a few new experiences. There was 1 card that suggested she use a toy on my bum, which some people may feel odd about but obviously you don't have to do the ones you're not comfortable with...although the idea of the game is to open you up to new ideas. This game is probably more suitable for inexperienced couples although we found it to be good fun on a Saturday night in.

Great fun. Keep an open mind and enjoy. We both enjoyed the game got very raunchy and achieved the objective. Wife wants to play again. Happy days 😂

Good quality and not damaged. Me and my partner play this occasionally, there are different ways to play or you can make your own game rules up which we did to make it a little more fun and different. Plenty of cards to go through! Good for couples getting to know more about each other or who are a bit shy. Before playing, make sure you buy a few treats and drinks as they come in useful when playing. We bought strawberries and sweets and some sauce incase we landed on the food.

I was really pleased with Monogamy as a game. Initially not sure as we are a (female) same-sex couple and it's hard to tell from descriptions etc whether it is suitable for all persuasians...however, can confirm that while there are always "his" and "her" suggestions on the cards, we had great fun picking and choosing the one we preferred so this was no obstacle (in fact, it probably made the game even better!) One qualm is that the cards could be worded better - one of the fantasy cards said something like "you get to do whatever you like to your partner" - thought that this was a bit inappropriate and might cause conflict or in a worse case scenario permit abuse. In general though the game is great as it keeps you drinking and stripping, and warms you up gently through the three levels. We started off fully clothed and not particularly horny and ended up naked and gagging for it! Another nice touch were the cards that encouraged intimate discussions, so it wasn't all about performing actions and let us have the pleasure of talking about fantasies etc. Also loved the cards that give things you are supposed to do in the week/month after you have played the game - such as go for a long walk and indulge in a bit of "al fesco", or buy a cd for your partner. We are really impressed and think the game is worth the £24 - can't wait to play again!

The product requires a lot of props which aren't included in the box. This is a shame as it has you putting away cards which you might otherwise have wanted to use. It kind of ruins the flow of the game. However, the content provided for the price gives you a good value for your money. Very entertaining for a night in with your partner.

Let's start with the basics about us. My wife and I are sexually experienced and largely uninhibited, so I'm unsure if we're the target demographic for this game. Basically, I'll run through the points that came up when we played this game, an experience we mostly enjoyed because it's like an extended period of foreplay: 1. There are several teacher/pupil fantasies, which left us cold. They didn't even specify teacher/STUDENT. They specially called out one play being the pupil. Hmmmm. 2. It's all a bit tame until you get to the third round of cards, which are then a bit too involved (e.g. go off and find this thing, then do this with it for five minutes...) Some of the third-round cards involved full sexual scenarios in themselves. One involved grabbing a pack of cards and playing a whole different card game! 3. The game can last a LONG time. You're supposed to go around the board six times. Honestly, we just got tired out. In future we'll maybe go around twice. We also adjusted the rules so that with each turn we picked-up a card. Otherwise, again, the game just takes too long. 4. The words on the cards are (a) too small, and (b) there's too many of them. Some of them are practically essays. I'm middle-aged. I need reading glasses. Often I had to move over to a better light source to be able to read the damn cards. And even then I struggled. This is a design flaw. Make the cards bigger OR edit down that text. In summary, this game didn't hit the spot for us. By the time we were getting to the end, we were so tired out that the horniness was starting to dissipate. I suppose we should've just had sex earlier and we were certainly tempted but we really wanted to get to the end to "play" our fantasy cards (which were things we'd already done, to be honest, like filming sex). I mean, they should add that to the game – a "joker" game element, that means one of the players can jump straight to the fantasy part. We live in a different world of sexuality nowadays, compared to even just a few decades ago. Thanks to the internet we're much more knowledgable and significantly less prudish. We don't need to be educated or coaxed into doing new things. What is fun, though, is being given permission to do things by a third party, and to verbalise sex, and being dared to do things. This game almost gets that right, but it's just coming from the wrong direction, in which it assumes a sexually naive audience.

I am really glad I bought this game as a Christmas present for my hubby! I had a sneaky look before I wrapped it and was very close to sending it back as I didn't think I could do some of the suggestions - even though we have been together 11 years I still felt a little embarrassed giving him a sexy lap dance!... But I am glad I was brave and kept it as it was a lot of fun! We played it on New Year's Eve so had a few drinks and spent the evening talking, laughing and "other things" as per the cards. Yes it can be a little embarrassing but when you are both doing funny things then it's ok after a while - plus a couple of drinks help with the first time nerves! lol I would recommend looking through some of the cards the first time as you do need some 'props' like foods to feed yourself and each other in a seductive way (we bought Pringles and dips and they both came in handy!) and you may also need things like a blindfold and whipped cream. If you would rather both keep the cards a total surprise then as long you have some food you can improvise with the rest - or leave that particular card for this time playing and pick another one. Some of the cards are actions do to straight away, others are to complete within a week or month and some are surprises for each other to do whenever you like - so the game doesn't really end that night. There is a quicker way you can play the game by just picking the cards but we played the full version and it took around 4 hours - so keep the whole night free... put music on.... get some drink... some food and have fun with your loved one! (Sneaky tip - there is a square on the board whereby you are required to take an item of clothing off - therefore I wore some socks even though I had a skirt on! hehe)

I took a long time to make up my mind before buying this game-and read every single one of the reviews by previous buyers more than once. I liked what I read of the game, especially the steadily increasing levels, but was a little unsure as to whether I was going to be buying something that was particularly crude or smutty. My wife was even more sceptical than I but we prepared to give it a go. We both felt a little self conscious at first but, by the time we were halfway through the game my wife made clear that she was well into the mood and that it was proving a bit of an effort to stick to the game (in the best possible way). We really liked the way in which the game built up gradually, giving time to chat about what we appreciated about each other before getting more pulse racing. We also liked the freedom of the rules. Both of us enjoy love making and we aren't prudes but we can also both be a little self conscious: In the course of normal love making neither of us would be particularly inclined to suddenly pour yoghurt over the other and start licking it off; the other person would probably give them a withering look of 'What on earth do you think you're doing?' But the context of the game made all kinds of things we wouldn't normally be brave enough to try some how quite natural (and we didn't regret it!) There were several points where we might have given up on the game altogether (as several other reviewers did) but we found the self discipline to stick with it and are glad we did; although we were absolutely gagging for it long before the end, it just heightened our anticipation (and meant we did a lot more things than we might otherwise have done). The one main disappointment was the fantasy cards which, to be honest, we found largely in bad taste; when a game is called 'Monogamy' it did come as something of a surprise that one of the fantasies was a wife swap. Several of the others were in a similar vein. There were some we might have used or adapted; to be honest, we didn't bother with them by that point. Having gone from being very sceptical we would both say that it gave us one of our bests nights in, literally, years and certainly intend to play it again before too long.

After playing one time, we did not play again. It's either boring or questions/tasks are so unreal that we don't want to do them , lots of food stuff involved. We don't see difference vs free online apps like this.

I've bought many a racey board game before, but this one takes the cake. I warn you this is to be played after proof reading the most intense cards. You should decide what is and isn't acceptable with your S.O. before playing. All that in mind this is the game you play to bring surprise, spontaneous-ness, and the excitement of something new into your romantic life. The packaging was well maintained, arrived early, just as pictured, and lastly I would recommend to any and everyone.
