Bought this shed having seen a similar one in a garden centre for nearly 3 times the price. I was a bit dubious when reading reviews as to how it was going to arrive. When delivered the box was a bit battered so I feared the worst. On opening I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of polystyrene protection and also the plywood protection inside the box. I checked all the panels, and fortunately all were un-damaged. As per the reviews, there are a lot of components, so i suppose to anyone with no DIY skills this would be very daunting. It took me 2 hours to build on my own, just needed the help of my wife to hold the lid upright to fix the hinges to it. A cordless drill with a pozi 1 bit is almost definitely a necessity. A bit of advice, I used 6 quick grip bar clamps to hold the side panels together until fitting the support bars, this way the panels will not try to fold into the middle. All in all a very sturdy box, with the added bonus of a very sturdy lock, and not the usual flimsy type you get with most sheds. I am waiting to see, as others have mentioned, how water tight this will be considering the screws on the lid. Will be purchasing a weatherproof cushion bag to go inside it just to be on the safe side. On another note for the 1450l model, ignore the sizes stated on the photo, these should be inches, and not centimeters as stated, therefor the size of the 1450l is 1950mm long, 940mm wide and 950mm high. This needs looking into by the seller. Highly recommend, but not if your DIY skills aren't up to it. Size: 1450l

Box is ok but a nightmare to build, especially as many of the holes are too small for the screws, so had to go out and buy a drill bit and drill 16 holes myself. Unacceptable!

Having recovered from the trauma of building it, I am extremely pleased with the box. It's survived many heavy rainstorms and multiple inspections by the squirrels that had gnawed my old plastic storage box. It's big and solid, looks very smart, holds lots of stuff, and I love the way the lid stays up. It does have small air vents just above the bottom corners but I've not had any problems with that (no water or insects) and I think I prefer it being able to breathe. Being metal, it can get hot in the summer. I store animal food inside it so don't want things to stew in there. It was well-packed and came with all the bits needed to build it, plus extras. Building it did take two people, lots of patience, knee pads (highly recommended for crawling on the floor doing the first lot of screws), a mini electric/battery screwdriver to fully tighten the screws. It helped to read previous reviews as, yes, the instruction diagrams do show the big screw holes and small screw holes the right way up, but if you're not looking for that you may miss it. Be organised - work out what's needed for each step and get it all ready in advance. The instructions were good, and everything fitted together right up until the very end, when the holes in the lid didn't all align. Rather than take it apart again I left off two of the top corner bits, which I suspect were the wrong size. It works perfectly well without them and everything aligned without them. I contacted the manufacturer to ask why they don't have a video showing how to build it. They do for all their other products. I didn't get a response and think you probably have to phone them rather than message them. But my suspicion is that they don't provide a video because a) it would be several hours long and b) it would put people off buying it. But don't be put off. It's well worth the time and effort, for the price. Just make sure you set aside a few hours, or construct it in place where you can take a break if you end up having a big argument about who should have the electric screwdriver. There was a great sense of achievement when it was finished.

So, when constructed I think this is a really decent storage unit. It’s a little tricky to assemble on your own at times but not too difficult. Did mine in 3 hours and that includes putting the metal sheets the wrong way around before taking them apart and starting again (big holes at the bottom!! the holes for the lock are a dead giveaway). Otherwise, instructions are fine and it’s definitely sturdy when fully complete. I’d recommend putting it on some wheels or some pieces of wood to keep it off the floor as the water drainage holes are on the bottom of the trim along the outside. All that said, great value for money and pleased I bought it.

After waiting some time for this product to come back in stock, once ordered, it arrived within 3 days. The packaging was a little damaged. It is huge. It took my builder partner just under 4hrs to build on his own. Balancing the side panels to connect to another was difficult on his own as they are quite flimsy singularly but once the top rail is on, it all holds together firmly and is light enough when empty for 2 people to carry. It would definately help if another person helps to hold bits. All pre drilled holes aligned well. Some people have mentioned that the lid was off kilt but this only happens if the box isn't sitting square when fitting the lid. I needed it to put in three 6ft patio cushions as the 750ltr one was too small. I've now fit in the cushions, 12 smaller cushions, a 3m x 2m pool and frame, a filter pump and hoses, 12 filters, 3 large rugs, 4 tall solar lanterns, 26 rubber floor mats, 3 camping chairs, swing ball, snorkeles, noodles, boogy boards and there's still room for more. There are a couple of scratches (from the damaged box) but they are at the back so I don't mind, I'm sure it will get more over time. I've checked it after 2 heavy down pours before I filled it and it was bone dry. Just make sure you have enough room to put it somewhere.

This is a very large and decent looking storage box. I bought it for the garage so that I could store bird food, and any other things that were getting wrecked by the mice, in it. In that respect it's absolutely great - I have no more problems with mice chewing through everything and, hopefully the fact that the bird food is no longer accessible, means that they've gone on their merry way. The lid stays up very well meaning that I can rummage around in the box without fear of it falling down on me. Whilst the box is great for storing a lot of stuff the construction of it leaves a bit to be desired. The sides are made from very thin corrugated metal and it's quite a feat to put it all together, (plan for a couple of hours at least and ideally a couple of people). Once it's assembled it is considerably stronger than I initially thought that it was going to be but, even so, when leaning in to pick out a heavy box of bird food I leaned on the front of the box near the middle and the horizontal support that runs across the top bent, leaving a rather sharp bit that can catch you - even after I'd straightened it out. The top is also very thin metal and, whilst it has supports, will also dent very easily. I am now quite careful not to lean on the box now when using it. In summary, this storage box is great for storing a lot of stuff and keeping it safe from rodents. However, its robustness is very questionable - if you want something that looks good and won't dent then this might not be the item for you as it really isn't very strong.

Admission first - I ignored the reviews about difficult assembly thinking I was more capable. My apologies to the reviewers. Positives first. Once built this is a large and fairly sturdy box but it felt like a long journey from package to assembled. Two person assembly is not essential but definitely advisable. The instructions are confusing at best but can be followed. Most parts were well numbered. Here are the negatives - Holes not drilled in the correct places. Three hinges supplied, one fitted the pre drilled holes, two were a different pattern. Four corner reinforcers for the lid were the clearly wrong part number, size was fine but no pre-drilled holes matched. One Hydraulic lid piston broken. The lid itself was twisted and does not lie flat even with the strengthening bars screwed in place. Stated that a padlock eye was provided for security but in fact a locking handle was fitted with no place for a padlock. Finally. This box required a great deal of fabrication to make it functional. Quality Control at source is very poor with incorrect parts supplied. I had already spent a lot of time on assembly when I got to the incorrect hinges, I wasn't prepared to take it all apart to return for another, I needed a box urgently. The contact number supplied for assistance is in the USA, none in the U.K. or I would simply have requested replacement parts. Once completed the box looks adequate, large and strong, but required considerable effort to achieve. The lid does not close closely and there are obvious gaps around the base and side panels. It is clearly not water 'resistant' as supplied, I sealed the base with silicone inside and out to improve it and fitted waterproof draught excluder inside the lid. I wouldn't use it as a bench, it's far too high and flexible. My first requirements were secure and rodent proof as I want to use it for secure storage in a garage, being metal it should be up to that job! Think twice and be prepared if you buy this item. In my opinion it is poorly made and not worth the money or the effort. It certainly isn't cheap and you won't end up with the box you want without a lot of effort. Sorry.

I bought this to store a lot of garden cushions, and the furniture covers when in use. I found the assembly to be a bit of task, simple enough but a little time consuming. It comes with good ironmomngery, stainless steel screws for example, but there are a lot of them. Once assembled, it's a superb unit, huge, and I'm looking forward to a long life-span.

Das Material der Box macht auf den ersten Blick einen guten Eindruck. Leider war meine Bestellung nicht vollständig, es fehlen vier notwendige Bauteile und von einem Teil sind 3 anstatt nur eines vorhanden. Ein Aufbau ist ohne die Teile nicht möglich. Den Support habe ich angeschrieben, leider noch keine Rückmeldung. Lieferung erfolgte schnell und problemlos. Ich hoffe auf eine zügige Klärung und kann dementsprechend meine Bewertung anpassen. Ergänzung: Der Support hat nach zwei Tagen reagiert, der Fehler lag bei mir. Einige Teile sind zum sicheren Transport und Platz sparen ineinander verstaut. Es war somit alles da, Qualität ist gut und ich bin wieder rundum zufrieden.

Ce coffre est le plus grand possible. Il est adapté pour les coussins d'un salon de 8 places et pour deux coussins de transats. ET il reste de la place. Pour le montage, il faut être méticuleux. Il faut placer les panneaux latéraux en respectant l'ordre du guide (dessins très détaillés), sinon l'erreur se paye à la fin et il faut tout redémonter. Les trous dans les tôles sont très précis. Si quand vous voulez visser, le trou n'est pas en face, c'est que vous avez fait une erreur ..... Me montage m'a pris 4 heures avec mon erreur. L'enlèvement du plastique de protection prend du temps mais il garanti la sécurité de la peinture. J'ai gardé celui du toit du coffre jusqu'à la fin du montage pour le préserver des manipulations. Je l'ai monté seul mais il faut être deux pour fixer le toit à ses charnières. ce coffre est bien conçu et il me semble bien protégé contre la corrosion. La serrure à clef est de bonne qualité mais avec la flexion possible des tôles, cette protection est illusoire contre le vol mais suffisante pour maintenir le toit par vent fort.

Molt maco, ampli, ben construit i robust. Estic molt content. Això si, mínim 2 hores dues persones pel seu muntatge

Comprato ormai un paio di anni fa,utile,resistente e capiente!è all'esterno da allora!ci sta un materassino da piscina gonfio in lunghezza!ci vuole un po' di tempo per completare il montaggio,ma io l'ho fatto da sola senza bisogno di avvitatore!consiglio!

Ik ben erg tevreden. Hij is goed en stevig genoeg waar hij voor bedoeld is. Leuk design. In elkaar zetten moet je wel doen met z’n tweeën en volg de stappen van de handleiding. Erg snel bezorgd in Nederland. Sneller dan verwacht dan vermeld door Amazon.
