Will it work I connect my PS4 to a pc monitor with a vga port?

Hi,I used this adapter to connect my Nintendo Switch to an old DELL monitor (vga) and it worked perfectly - so I don't see why it wouldn't work with a ps4. Although it doesn't carry the audio, so you need to use the audio output on the adapter.
