BaByliss Pro Heated Ceramic Roller Set - Pack of 30 Pieces

For many years ( in 70’s ) I used Carmen heated rollers which eventually failed. Then changed to shorter style but during Covid Lockdown my hair grew again requiring some home management. New Carmen Rollers were unavailable so chose the BaBliss Pro heated rollers. There are 4 different size rollers 8 of each with pins to match. I found the rollers very easy to use with two settings for heat, either giving a good curl effect on my plentiful but fine hair. The box is large and quite heavy but there is no provision within the box for the pins. I keep the pins clipped together by size in a small plastic box. If they are mixed it is time consuming to sort them out either before starting to set hair or worse during the setting process when the rollers are cooling down.

This is the second time I’ve bought these - the first time was 11 years ago - so obviously I think they’re good! Very easy to use and very effective without damaging your hair. My old set were not heating up enough but still work and can be used to augment the new set. The storage case is big but looks fine standing upright which also makes it easy to put in the hot rollers.

Bought these as replacement for my old roller set. Pleased with product, does the job.2 heat settings .But does not switch off when ready so need to be vigilant.All in all very happy.

After much research, I chose to purchase these rollers as I read some reviews and the 30 rollers appealed to me as I have very very long hair. This was my second choice of rollers as I read up about the enrapture extremity heated rollers being ideal for long hair but unfortunately they have been discontinued. The first time I turned on the rollers there was a slight burning smell but nothing major and the rollers took about 20-25 minutes to heat up but I feel like this was due to them being never used before and myself leaving the parcel by the front door where there is a cold draft. I first tried them when my hair was greasy and the overall look was average but nothing great. But today, I washed my hair and put the rollers straight in, this time it only took about 10-15 minutes heating up so i put them on when I was drying my hair so that they would be ready straight away. Overall my hair looks fantastic, I am novice when it comes to heated rollers but its like an instant curly blow, even when I've left them in for only 15 minutes it looks fab so I would recommend using straight after washing your hair. The only reason I have not given this product 5 stars is because of the length of my hair, I would've found it a lot better if there were more red rollers which are the largest size as the yellow ones don't really have much use to me. Overall, I am really happy with this purchase.

Brilliant set of rollers. Like all the different sizes. Used all 4 sizes!I really like the black clips and have ordered extra ones from Amazon. They are easier to manage than the pins which was all I used to use with my old Carmen rollers.I've had to clear a rather large space on my dressing table but that's the only downside.Much better than my old Carmen rollers used to be 30/40years ago. These aren't as heavy and stay in much better.The only solution I would suggest is that they turn themselves off as you MUST REMEMBER TO TURN THEM OFF YOURSELF.I've only used the lowest heat and I test the rollers by hand before turning them off and starting to put them in my hair.They go in really well and haven't been too hot. I really like how easy it is to use them with the black clips as it's much quicker which is a bonus as I have neck and arm problems and cannot blowdry my hair myself. The style stays well if slightly backcombed and then hairspray applied after brushing into required style. I have jaw length/short hair which is very fine and not easy to manage so I am impressed.

I bought these for my wife as a Christmas present.She says "They are perfect for her"She uses them around 3 times a week & they are still going strong

Packaging was poor, the box containing the curlers was flimsy paper like cardboard. No extra box to give it strength. Then wrapped in clingy black plastic(like a bin liner but thinner). This gave no support to the weak box. Resulting in damaged box and goods.Supplier should re look at there packaging.The cutlets will be ok when I get the pins to use , it heats up well, so I’m keeping them as I have been enough refund to get the right roller pins and clips.Good service from the supplier and a speedyResponce. Recommend abetter stronger postal box.

Purchased these after owning the Babyliss rollers where the hair goes into a heated slot, rather than the whole barrel of the roller getting warm. I find these so much easier to use as the slot rollers became tangled in my hair easily- on a few occasions I actually had to cut them out of my hair.These are easy to use and heat up quickly. You get a large amount of rollers, clips and U-Pins in the set. The rollers do become very warm but I personally did not find them too warm to handle. I have mine on a timer switch so they are ready to use when I wake up, and I roll my hair as soon as I get out of bed and leave them in for an hour and a half before work. They give a lovely soft curl that lasted well.
