Arctic Silver ACN-60ml - Heat Sink compounds (White)

This is the most used thermal paste and the most recommended to use, no problems and has reduced the CPU temperature on my desktop.

Has an offputting distinct smell, it's not too much of a problem as the product definitely delivers on what it says

It's CPU paste and does what it is supposed to do and keep things cool.

The arcticlean is a very easy to use product the smell is a tiny bit unpleasant so use it in a well ventilated space just read the instructions on the bottles making sure you start with bottle 1 and then bottle 2 and you have cleaned thermal paste off cpus and heat sinks in next no time.

Pretty good it removed the old thermal paste.

After getting high temps on my Alienware m17 I decided to repaste. This was my first repaste I had done and was a little nervous about diving into the various components. I figured if I am going to attempt this, I wanted to be prepared. I got all of the recommended materials including these solutions as well as thermal grizzly kryonaut. After removing the heatsink I was surprised to see how think (practically transparent) the stock paste was. I have read that Alienware in particular using junk paste. I followed the directions on the bottles. I first applied only a drop or two from Bottle 1 to each component (CPU and GPU) and let it sit for about a minute. Afterward I used a business card (to scrape away the gunk) and a coffee filter and micro fiber cloth to clean the rest. I then applied Bottle 2 to polish or finish the surfaces on both the CPU, GPU and their heatsink plates with a micro fiber cloth. As you can see in my photos the CPU and GPU with super clean and ready for the thermal grizzly application. Though I do not have any experiences with other solutions, these solutions, manufactured by a reputable thermal management company (Arctic Silver) worked fine. I would definitely recommend it to anyone for ease of use, function and peace of mind.

The most underrated tool for cleaning your cpu from old thermal paste or even liquid metal. If your OCD about cleaning the paste completely away like me then this stuff is as good as gold to you. Yes for you enthusiast who are scared of spilling and cleaning and have noticed it hard to clean on occasion, simply use this solution number 1 and goodbye LM product, fantastic stuff and smells great!
