Good stuff
Grips well, including mildly textured tiles. For wet drilling the ability to add the water line is handy. Rubber seems as good as some expensive glass lifters I have. So, hoping it lasts for a lot of work.

Absolute must
Great drilling guide as you would expect from rubi, great suction and doesn’t move around when drilling.

Made drilling with a diamond tip drill through porcelain tiles easy
A must if you have to drill through porcelain tiles with some accuracy

Proper tool
Very good suction.

Robust and works well.
Unlike the utterly useless plastic alternatives (all of which are flimsy, and only differ in colour from each other) this robust drill guide is effective and built to last.

OK guide let down by useless suction
I purchased this to help guide some holes I needed to make in porcelain tiles - still not sure why diamond cutters don't have pilot drills but hey-ho. The main item itself seems pretty solid. I was using the V-guide bit and there is no flex or the like as the metal is a decent thickness. You can attach an optional spray bottle to lubricate wet-cut bits but it only covers the V section and not the individual cut-outs. Biggest issue I had was with the suction. Unless it is on super-smooth tiles it just doesn't provide a firm enough hold, especially once you apply the pressure of the drill. It isn't an all or nothing fail either as I found it had a habit of looking like it had stayed put but in fact had drifted/rotated. Only noticeable once you tried to feed pipes through the holes! It's not a particularly cheap bit of kit but I found the accuracy and ease of use not much better than just using masking tape.

Suction great
Suction is good, moves a tiny little bit, would have to hold steady with one hand while starting the hole in slippery tile. Overall appearance is nice quality.
