Best for my lovely dogs.
I Have written the same review on another Lily's Kitchen Product (as I use most of them)After reading about Lily's Kitchen in the daily mail, it made me realise that I should take a closer look what goes into dog food. I didn't know anything about 'animal dirivatives' or how dog food is made. Searching about this on the internet I found lots of information - some shocking information on Youtube. Plus The Shocking Truth About Commercial Dog Food by Mike Sagman. So I started cooking my own dog food and buying food from Lily's kitchen. All I can say that my two Jack Russells (Ellie and Lily) not only love the food, but they seem much more healthier. - Ellies tummy rash has gone - which was such a worry. I guess she must have been allergic to soya or wheat or Gluten - which there is none in Lily's Kitchen food - I'm very happy. I have tried different types of food from there (dry and wet) and the dogs love all of them. Also I found that changing to different can food fairly quickly does not upset their tummy. By the way I have bought Lily's Kitchen book for dog recipies. It's great. Has giving me ideas on different meals that I cook for them - I usually do this once a week. I have bought most of the herbs that the book recommends - I put a couple of tablespoon full of each in one jar and mix it. Then all I need to do is to add a couple of teaspoons full to whatever batch of meal I cook (usually make enough for a couple of days).Yes Lily's Kitchen products do costs more than other commercial dog food, but well worth it. After all I love my dogs and want them to be with me for a long time.

Great dog food that has a good ingredients list
I moved my pug to Lilly’s kitchen after trying a range of other good quality dog foods. This has been the best for him. He loves all of the flavours, and the treats.I first brought the Lilly’s kitchen cook book which has some great recipes in and from this researched the company. They have a really good ethos about how and why they produce their dog food the way they do.If you have a dog that seems to suffer food allergies , skin complaints, runny eyes etc it is worth giving this a try as I have seen an improvement in all of these.

Amazing food
Im so impressed with this food! Both of my dogs were fed on another very good dog food brand for around 10 years. However i discovered Lilys Kitchen one day and after reading some of the amazing reviews i decided to give it a try. I didnt think i would see that much change in the dogs as they were already on a very good dog food but i was wrong! The changes i have seen are amazing... beautiful soft shiny coats, no more bad breath, their tear stains are clearing up and they seem so much more content and satisfied on this food. My older dog who is 11 does find the biscuits a little hard on her teeth due to her age but i have been adding a drop of water to soften it and she loves it! It is a little more expensive to pay but what you are getting out of the food is so worth it, organic fresh healthy ingredients and a happier dog. So so so so impressed, I will never feed my dogs/any future dogs anything else.

and is not really like 'proper food' or meat
Although I do use the Lily's Kitchen tinned food for my dogs, as well as home cooked, I don't use any dried food, as in my opinion 'dry' food is more of an occasional treat, and is not really like 'proper food' or meat. However, when my Spaniel had a false pregnancy a couple of months ago, she went right off her usual food and was being extremely picky. I tried pretty much everything, with all sorts of human food and the Lily's Kitchen tray food for dogs - she wasn't really interested in anything. I decided to try this purely through desperation, as she was starting to lose weight and when I offered it to her, she decided that this was what she liked at this time ! I managed to get her into a routine of eating this in small amounts a few times a day and was so relieved she was eating something. I continued with this until her hormones settled down and she is now back on her normal food and eating whatever I offer her. I would recommend this food, purely from the fact that it is 'Lily's Kitchen', it is organic and it does smell quite nice and my Spaniel liked it, when nothing else appealed to her.

Product great, Amazon Packaging abysmal
Of all the dry dog food we have tried, Lilys Kitchen has been the most favoured by our dogs for 10 years now.Sadly, on this occasion, the parcel delivered by the Post Office, had been repackaged as the original amazon packging gad disintegrated, probably due to water damage as the cardboard box was wet, and had tried to resecured with parcel tape and then placed inside a large plastic bag. Sadly, some of the original contents of the package had been damaged and some of the contents lost.

i have always been mindful of my cavalier's health.. i have been eating organicaly myself way over 10 years..so it follows i want the same sor my dog...but this is the BEST.... immediately i noticed a difference in him...he is more lively... coat brighter.. eyes sparkling..he even managed to jump onto the settee which he hadnt done the last couple of years.. being into herbs myself since i was very young.. i am pleased that lily's kitchen provides so much of what i was cooking seperately for my dog..this is a WONDER food! delicious.. i tried it too.

My dog loves this kibble.
I have a 7 year old Weimeraner who I rescued last year. She has some health problems so finding a kibble that she loves and can also tolerate is great news. I have given the kibble 5 stars for flavour and whilst I don’t actually know ( honestly) what it tastes like I see it disappearing at record speed followed by serious lip licking.
