Good Product
Love this dulse. I use it all the time for my detox smoothie, and have put it in salads and soup.

Salty and Healthy! Enjoy!
It has a healthy salt taste to it. Our bodies need a lot more salt then you might think. Sprinkle some on your baked potato. Enjoy!

Vegan Bacon Bits
I gave this as a gift to a friend with Alpha Gal. We all taste tested it and it does taste a lot like bacon (with a sea-weedy under-taste). Would totally use as a vegan replacement for bacon bits on a salad or similar application.

Seaweed
I bought this product because of a Food Network program (Food Fact or Fiction) in which Dulse was said to taste just like bacon and can be used in place of real bacon. With these flakes, my wife and I both did not get any indication whatsoever of a bacon taste, but a strong seaweed flavor instead. I could not justify a review less than 5 stars because I'm happy with the nutritional value that Dulse provides and it does not ruin anything we might use it in. Although I will not purchase the flakes again, I may try the strips (which is what was used in the Food Network program) to see if the bacon flavor will come through in that form but I have to be realistic and realize it may be no different than the flakes. I will review that product once I decide to try it.

Tasty Dulse Flakes--Great source of iodine and generally healthy for you
If you need a good source of iodine and don't eat alot of fish like me, buy these dulse flakes. You can sprinkle them over stews, eggs (looks weird), or anything, really. They taste just slightly salty and I have been told dulse sort of tastes like bacon. I am not sure I agree with that, but maybe if prepared right it might. Good iodine sources are not easy to come by so get these flakes and rest your mind that you are helping your thyroid do its job.

Awesome Product
The only problem that I've ever had with this product is usually when it's being shipped. Quality of the product is awesome. It Blends quite well with my smoothies. And when I do use it it's usually with my medical medium smoothies.
