If i have two vent in my laptop either side do i need one or two?

Hello and thanks for asking.

Laptops with vents on both sides often also come with back vents.

If you own such a laptop, you'd be better off using a cooling pad like the KLIM Wind rather than several turbine coolers like our Cool+.

In any case though,  you can still buy one Cool+ for each of the main vents of your computer if you would like to, you should obtain extremely good results but your setup will be quite cumbersome.

Is this compatable with asus rog strix g15 15

Hi Adam, thanks for asking!

You should be able to attach our Cool to one side of your ASUS rog Strix G15 however, you may not experience very good results as it will not offer a balanced cooling if you are only using one cooler for let's say either the right or left exhaust vent.

You'd actually get better results using a cooling pad, as pushing cold air to the underside of the laptop should be more effective than blowing hot air out of its smaller exhaust vents ( the biggest vents are at the back but you may have a hard time fitting the Cool on them and it won't cover them entirely ) . 
Precisely, our Mistral cooling pad would give excellent results with your laptop, I would recommend it!

It seems compatible based on similar models we've tested. The cooler has several silicon adapters to fit most side and rear exhausts of varying lengths.

In any case you can return it within 30 days and get a full refund if not compatible.

Hi Gary and Jenny, thank you for your question !

To be fair, I would not recommend using our Cool or Cool+ coolers to try and cool down your gaming pc efficiently due to the way its exhaust vents are set.

The rubber sleeves provided are here to help get better suction on the vent but none of those provided will be the right fit for the large vent at the back of your computer.

These coolers are more suited to the side vents you can find on notebook-type laptops.

The KLIM Airflow may be a really good option for your precise model, actually so I strongly suggest you take a look at it.
