5 Star product
I've used various waterless wash and protection products over the last few years, Showroom Shine and recently Williams Wash and Wax. I've been happy with each but settled on the Williams product as my preferred choice. The problems I've found with these are that they are thicker and creamier, a good thing in some ways, but very prone to blocking the spray tube. The Diamond Shine product by comparison is almost like water and sprays easily covering the area well. So my initial reaction was one of surprise at the purple water like liquid rather than the cream thicker spray I've been use too. However, it does clean the surfaces well as can be seen from the microfibre cloth used to apply the product the second polishing cloth is very much cleaner and easily gives a good depth of shine with little effort. Whilst at this time of year there are not many bugs around I did find some stuck to the front chrome and these were easily removed, again with no hard effort on my part. My usual test for depth of shine is to look at the product bottles reflection in the bonnet. One problem with this was I was almost unable to place the bottle without it gliding off towards the ground, however, I did manage to get it to stay, see photograph, and was very happy with the reflected image. I next tried pouring water over the bonnet, this just pours off and looks like it more like a river than the traditional beading you often see.I'll revisit this review after I've used the product more and clocked up some mileage in different weather conditions.Initial impression is very good, easy to use, great results, recommended

Very impressed!
Some people enjoy washing their cars. Others loathe it. Personally, I fall somewhere in the middle. If the sun is shining, it can be quite pleasant to get outside to give my Ford S-MAX some TLC, but during the winter, the thought of luke warm water hitting the cold air and turning my hands to ice is enough to have me driving straight to the nearest car wash. However, regular car washes cost money and so I wanted to find an alternative that would allow me to wash my car myself without frostbite and without the high costs. The Diamond Shine System had really good reviews and was reasonably priced, and so I ordered a bottle to test it out. The 1 litre spray, two microfibre clothes and a sample size bottle of Eco Tyre Shine & Multi-Trim Dressing arrived quickly and were well packaged. The instructions were very clear, and it was interesting to read about the work the manufacturer has put in to ensuring this product is good for the environment. When you consider the water, electricity and gas that can be used when washing a car in the conventional way, this is reassuring to know.On peering into the bottle I was met with a pretty mauve liquid. The smell wasn't too harsh, and similar to the smell of many household cleaners. The day that I chose to wash my car was very cold, but it was the dryest day forecast for the week and so I decided to brave it. The instructions are incredibly easy to follow. Simply spray the Waterless Wash on the area you wish to clean and use one damp microfibre cloth to clean and the other dry cloth to buff the area you have just cleaned. I was worried there would be streaks, but any that did appear either disappeared as the liquid dried or were buffed to a shine with the cloth. I didn't have to scrub, rub hard or put my back into it either, which was good as it's not the smallest vehicle to wash by hand.I think most people will find their own natural style with Waterless Wash. I tended to spray larger areas and work quickly because it was cold, but if your car is extra dirty, it's easy to spray smaller areas and take your time. I have to say one of the best things about using this system is that you are not constantly plunging your hands into water and getting yourself soaking wet and your hands bitterly cold. In the middle of winter this is a very welcome benefit! Also, my hands hardly came into contact with the solution at all, and whilst it says the liquid will not cause skin irritation, my hands can be quite sensitive to any cleaning products and so I'd rather not take the chance if I can help it.I have to say that I was able to achieve a finish that wasn't dissimilar to the finish achieved by my local hand car wash. So, from a cost savings point of view, Waterless Wash will save me on average £40 per bottle compared to taking my car to be washed by somebody else. Another plus was that my car is often parked under a tree that spits out sap all over the bodywork. Waterless Wash cut through the sap (which is usually hard to get off without a jet wash) and just required me to wipe the residue away with the cloth.I also used a little of the Tyre and Trim cleaner on the tyres and on the dash of my car. I could have used the supplied microfibre clothes, but both were dirty from the car clean and so I used my own chamois cloth to bring the interior up to a high shine.I can't think of a bad word to say against this Waterless Wash. I'd imagine it's also great to have in the boot if you are extra fastidious about the appearance of your car or you're just on the way to the in-laws and you realised the car is a mess. Simply grab your bottle and cloth and you can do a quick roadside clean up!All in all, this is a convenient and effective way of cleaning your vehicle and bringing it up to a beautiful shine. And it's good for the environment and your pocket too!

Love it!
I was recommended this by a friend and she wasn't lying when she said how easy it was! I live in an upstairs flat with no access to a hose so carrying buckets is a real hassle and I was paying way too much to have it washed at the car wash only to get it home and the trees to shed on it again.I wasn't sure whether my car would be too dirty for it. It hadn't been washed in about a month and it had a lot of mud, grime and residue up the sides. I did use the waterless wash just after it rained so I guess that acted as a little pre wash. The product was amazing. I followed the instructions and sprayed one cloth with it, and some on my car. I was surprised how easily it wiped off the dirt; I was half expecting it to just smear the mud all over my car but it didn't. I then buffed it with the other cloth and that was it! I have a small car and it took max 15 minutes to do the whole car. It does seem to be repelling dirt quite well too. The cloths then went in the washing machine and came out perfectly. Highly recommend if you want to save time and money on car washes. One year on...I’m just updating this review to say that this cleaner is also amazing on your house windows and mirrors. At first you’ll think oh my gosh what have I done as it turns into a smeared mess, but don’t worry, it buffs easily and keeps windows and mirrors super clean for ages! Also good for bathroom taps as it helps repel the water... I could go on!

Easy to use
Loved this product, and so easy saves getting buckets of water and sponges everywhere. However, after just a few weeks in the pump no longer works and I have to unscrew it and dap on to the material. A real pain. Leaves a nice clean
