Product failed after 8 weeks
This iron was really good but unfortunately has completely stopped working within 8 weeks. 2 weeks ago the retractable cord mechanism stopped working after first press of button.

The iron did not work in the U.K.
Unfortunately I was sent a model which would only work in the United States. So I can't really write my opinion of the iron

Rubbish
Why has a product that’s been ordered on Amazon IK got a foreign plug? Totally useless product. Have since noticed that it’s only for sale in the US, Canada, and Mexico

Love this Iron
I've only had it for two days, but I used it to iron my clothes for the work week and absolutely love it. It heats up quickly, works incredibly fast, and I didn't experience any leaks or issues, even after ironing quite a bit of clothing. I'm very happy with my purchase. As an added bonus, I bought a Used–Like New item at a fraction of the original cost, and it arrived looking brand new!

Performs as expected
Starting by the look, this iron (model DW2359 as listed by Amazon and 2450 on the iron itself) is gray & black (the water tank is charcoal). This specific model is manufactured in China not Germany. It's 1725 watt, 350 steam holes, tap water & anti-calc, stainless steel soleplate, anti-drip, safety auto-off and a retractable cord. It's one of the least expensive models from Rowenta. It was delivered this morning and I already tried it. To avoid water dripping, it is important to 1) select "no steam" before filling it with water 2) wait for the light to come off indicating it has reached the selected temperature. Turn on the steam selector, if you wish to use steam. I'm quite pleased with this iron. It glides well, heat was OK, water spray works fine as steam burst. The only real downside with this iron in my opinion is the color of the water tank. Because it's charcoal, it's real hard if not impossible to see how much water there is in the tank. The water tank is also on the smaller size at 8.5 oz. Apart from that, it's ironing quite well. Haven't experienced water dripping or any other problems during usage. Rowenta more expensive models are 1800 watt. I can't tell if 1725 watt (this model) and 1800 watt (more expensive models) can make such a difference in performance but this one was hot enough to iron cotton bed sheets. The retractable cord is also a nice feature.
