Does it come with a display case? If not, from where can one be obtained?

No adhesive required as the model is fully assembled and in a display box. - The model in question is mainly of metal, with excellent details and finish, although better used as a display item rather than a toy !!

It is now quite some time ago since I made that purchase and the model was a gift so is not now in my possession. However, as I recall, the construction was substantially die-cast metal with most attachments being in plastic, some of which were bright chrome plated. It needs to be emphasised that the various attachment are quite delicate items and, therefore, the model cannot be considered as being a 'toy'. In fact, I also purchased a clear plastic display case which serves the dual function of dust and accidental damage protection to the more delicate parts.
