I had heard of these before, so when I found this one for my future sister-in-law, I just had to buy it. It is really simple, pretty and the printed card shows the verse it refers to: Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue, And A SILVER SIXPENCE for her shoe! Few people know the last line, and my bride-to-be was no exception. She was tickled pink. The pretty organza bag really sets it off. Highly recommended, as is the company selling them. Thankyou!

Real 1956 Sixpence, comes with gift card in pretty bag (coin not silver as it says in the peom on the card, they are pre 1946) but a lovely little gift for a bride

Perfect little piece for my wedding in October. If you’re following tradition (something old, new, borrowed, blue and a sixpence in her shoe) I highly recommend using Gorilla glue and sticking this to the back of your heel. Leave it to hold overnight and it’ll be absolutely fine! Take it from a bride that still has the sixpence stuck to the shoe!!
