I used four of these to hang TV's in the church. The instructions are easy to follow, and they have a wide selection of bolts to fit various models of TVs. The tilt, swivel, and leveling is easy to set. Hint, if you are running wires down inside the tube, like HDMI cable, you may want to run the cable before putting the bolt thru the tube at the bottom. Make sure you check the height you need and the placement of the holes on the rear of TV. It gives a clean look and the length allowed us to install a 65" TV under a drop ceiling.

The only improvement I could suggest is some kind of trim plate for installation above a drop ceiling. In this install the customer wanted the TV located in front of the window. There was no wall to mount on and a drop ceiling. I had to construct above ceiling structure using 2x4 beams across the room stiffened with strips of 3/4 plywood. I put a 3/4 plywood platform on top of the 2x4s and through bolted the mount to that. I used a hole saw to gently cut a hole in the ceiling tile (by hand). Even though the hole was perfectly round and very close to the clearance needed for the pole to go through, there is no finish trim plate to cover this hole. I ended up going to Home Depot and getting a 1 3/4" plumbing eschusion to finish off the install. Unfortunately this pic doesn't show it. I was afraid these mounts would be to light gauge because of the low price. Was I surprised. Reasonable Heavy gayge steel way more than sturdy enough to hold these 50" TVs. More profit in my pocket!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I purchased this TV ceiling mount for my 75” to hang over the fireplace and it worked great. Solid construction and ease of use.

So I installed a 75 inch tv outside on my patio. The instructions were clear and it went up easy but after it was installed it just wasn’t sturdy enough for my outdoor application due to the wind. Indoors I could see it working great. So in saying that I still give it 4 stars as the product seems well made and good for indoor use, just not what I needed.

Best thing I have ever purchased! Easy to install. And much better than wall mounts. Holds up great under car port during storms!!

Works well. Instructions vague.

Absolutely love!! this was competitively priced, arrived on time, as well as had easy instructions and all parts were included. We love that we can swivel the TV depending on where we are in the room. The best part is since it’s suspended from the ceilings the dogs are unable to get to the TV when animals are being displayed. Now they sit below it and bark. I would buy it again and I would recommend this TV amount to others.
