I suffer from Hyperhydrosis on my face only and it ruins my self confidence; every time I take a brief walk, go to a social event without air conditioning or am in a bit of a rush I start to sweat profusely from my top lip and hairline which is so embarrassing. After a recent work night out where I was mortified but how much I visible sweated, I decided I would finally try this, and WOW. I was very sceptical but applied this to clean skin and tested it out by going on my treadmill for 30 minutes. While my hair became slightly sweaty, my face was BONE DRY. I could feel the warmth of my face and was expecting the feel the sweat start but nothing came through; usually I am literally dripping with sweat within minutes. I couldn’t believe it and kept checking my face in my phone camera to make sure I wasn’t imagining it; my face was completely dry to the touch the whole time. I then got off the treadmill (still completely dry) and put it to the test by applying a full face of makeup immediately after a 30 min workout - my makeup went on smoothly and looked beautiful, with still not a single bead of sweat coming through. UNHEARD OF. I cannot believe how well this worked and I have FaceTimed all of my family to show them how amazing the results are; I am genuinely in disbelief!! Scent: Strong but pleasant fragrance. Avoid getting it on your lips as it tastes a bit grim haha! Texture: Very watery gel consistency, rub it in well and leave it to dry down before engaging in anything that will make you sweat. When it dries it will feel slightly tight and powdery. It leaves a VERY slight white cast on the skin which I was worried about, however when taking pics I was surprised to see that it didn’t cause flashback. When I applied my makeup over the top this was also not visible; I tested by taking pictures in a dark room with the flash on my camera and it looked absolutely great! The price is amazing and I honestly feel like this will give me a new lease of life; no more feeling self conscious at social events and meetings!

I suffer from excessive sweating from the neck up when I'm hot and/or stressed. My first use of it was a game changing one. I was about to dismantle a bed frame in a hot room, and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try it. I wasn't sure how much to use, so I slathered it on pretty thick all over my face, neck, back of the neck, and even behind my ears. The smell is intensely floral - it smells like the face powder my Gran used to wear. I can live with it, but some may find it far too intense. Luckily it doesn't last much longer after you apply it. I was really impressed with my first use. I didn't sweat at all and it made the experience of dismantling a large bed frame far more pleasant. Since then, I have used it a lot, but with varying degrees of success. Here are some observations: 1. I've read this on a couple of other reviews, but I believe it loses effectiveness if you use it daily. As a result, I try to use it only on the days I really know I will need it, e.g. when I'm commuting on the train. 2. You don't need to slather it on, but you do need to make sure you cover every area with it. If you miss even a small patch, you will still sweat from it. And if your scalp sweats (and you have hair obviously), you will have a weird sensation when sweat runs from your scalp onto your sweat-free face. 3. When you first apply it, it's very sticky, and I find my hair gets stuck to my face, which is very annoying. 4. When it dries, you might find your face looks quite shiny, especially your t-zone. However, this doesn't happen every time for me. 5. Sometimes when I get into the office, having endured a hot and sweaty commute on an underground train and then a 1.5mile walk at a fast pace, I notice I have white tide marks on parts of my face, which is annoying. They come off with water. 6. The instructions recommend you apply the gel, and then apply your face products after. I don't understand this, as the gel literally acts as a barrier on your skin, so you would just be applying face products to the gel layer. I'm sure it's fine putting make up on top (I don't wear much, but some of it sits well on top, some of it, especially creamier make up, smears). I apply products, such as serums and creams, before I apply the gel. 7. In my opinion, the gold standard of face deodorants is Odaban. It's a spray which you apply to a dry face every night for a couple of weeks, and then a few times a week thereafter. It takes a couple of weeks to work, but once it does, it is incredible. The only problem with Odaban is that if you lose the routine of applying it, especially in the first couple of weeks, then you lose the protection. This is why the face saver gel is a great alternative, but like I say, it has its limitations.

I wish I could give 3 and a half stars. I've been using this on and off all during the recent heatwave whenever I plan to go out. The instructions say to use before applying other products. It feels strange putting moisturiser on my face after using this gel. It's an odd sensation. I've looked at video reviews and some people put it on after moisturiser. I would say use a light moisturiser if you're planning to use this product, one that absorbs easily. I don't wear face makeup much at the moment due to the pandemic and the hot weather. My issue is that during the summer, my face sweats a lot, especially on my forehead and this makes my fringe curl. So if I know I'm going out, I put some of this gel on before I get sweaty (sometimes the night before). It isn't a good idea to apply it on sweaty skin. Make sure your skin is dry and as cool as possible (I use a fan first) . The gel has a strong fragrance. How quickly it dries is dependent on the temperature of your skin, the ambient temperature and how thickly you apply it. I have to say that I have had breakthrough sweat so for me it isn't a perfect solution but it does help and saves a lot of embarrassment. I guess it's like anything else. It works better for some than others. For me it's certainly worth having. I've actually bought a second tube even though it's a bit expensive

I always sweat - on my forehead, nose, cheeks, ALWAYS my upper lip and chin. I love to go out clubbing too but it’s always taken over by thoughts of me sweating or getting too hot that my makeup comes off. THIS HAS CHANGED MY LIFE! I was unsure on how to use as not many reviews talk about wearing under makeup, so I used a 1p amount and rubbed all over my face, and let it dry. I then put more on my problem areas and let it sink in on bare skin for half an hour before I then put on my skincare products and then my makeup. My makeup has never looked smoother or stayed in fact this long before! I went out clubbing all night (10-4) in a club I usually leave after 2 hours because my makeups sweated off and nothing budged at all. The rest of my body was a bit sweaty but my face was bone dry. I’ve also learnt that putting some on the back of your neck also stops your hair from getting as sweaty. This is the best product ever!!!

Sadly, despite many positive reviews, I guess I have to admit that this product just isn't for me. *sighs* I'd previously tried odaban and had SOME results & believed that maybe it was my application technique at fault, but decided to try this. NOPE: if anything, I'd say I seemed to sweat MORE with the product than without? !! Like, initially it feels lovely and silky (and yes, a great 'primer' but once some sweating started it seemed to turn to water on my face! Maybe it depends on the cause of your sweating?? Mine comes after even mild activity: on a summer day, getting dressed starts the sweat pouring down my face and neck. :( I have a fringe which sticks to it and no matter how nicely I dress, I can never feel good with sweat literally running off my face, and my hair getting ruined amd soaked at the nape of my neck too etc. Hey: I still have nearly a full tube- you can have it to try lol!! Must say delivery & packaging was great- no problems there.

I suffer from extensive facial sweating anytime I'm somewhere warm, walk a distance or get stressed at work. This product has been a lifesaver. It really works! I walked twenty minutes in bulky clothes to a meeting in a building that was stuffy and hot. I felt hot, my face felt hot but I did not sweat. I didn't believe this was possible but it is. A few points - you only need a tiny amount. Apply it in stages, tiny amounts, not liberal like a face cream. Keep away from your eyes - it stings! Leave time for it to fully dry out befor you attempt to apply face cream or make up. Once it's dry you can apply freely. The only downside is that even after face cream it does make your face appear and feel a bit powdery. Made sure you check before you go out as it forms a white powder which can easily be rubbed off with a dry towel. You will need to put some sort of moisturiser on after you apply it otherwise your face feels a bit tight. But I can forgive all that because the extra 10-15m it takes to get this done means no facial sweating. I'm not saying you can go to the gym and not sweat but this isn't what this product is designed for. It's more about stopping the sweating in situations that can be embarrassing.

I originally bought this for a holiday in Florida where I look permanently if I have sprinted everywhere and if I put on any make up on it slides off with 30 minutes! I hate that feeling like your face is melting and, whilst I don’t wear tons of make up, I would like to look better that I do in photographs. Anyhow, the pandemic hits so no holiday but, as I struggle with the UK heat and I am of a ‘certain age’, I decided to give it a go at home. It is a clear gel with no particular aroma. I have to say it feels weird on your skin a bit gluey in consistency and then it sort of sets into a mask like feel. It didn’t irritate my skin or cause a reaction, just a strange feeling but one I could trade off if it worked. We had a particularly hot UK summer and I thought this would really help but the results were variable at best. On moderately hot days it seemed to help a bit and, when I wore make up, the weird glueyness (new word!) must have set it in place as it was mostly still there after a few hours. On a really hot day, or a day I was ‘glowing!’ it had no effect. I don’t know if it would have worked better in Florida, as it is a different kind of heat. I would probably try it there, if I was lucky enough to go again, as there really does not seem a lot else on the market but for summers in the UK, I don’t think I would bother. There are mixed reviews for this product so I think it obviously works for some and not for others, maybe depending on your skin type, where you are or how much you ‘glow!’ It is not too expensive so it probably is worth a try if you are aware that it may not work.

Amazing stuff use it all the time

I suffer from excessive facial sweating for which I have to feel embarrassed at times. So, I needed an antiperspirant urgently which could be applied on face. Meanwhile I came across this product and by reading its reviews, I thought it would work. My parents wouldn't allow me to apply some antiperspirant on face for it may have side-effects. So I ordered this from my fellowship amount. But guys believe me, it's good for nothing. It didnt work at all!! I'm writing this review after getting highly disappointed from my first use. The weather was kinda cold still I sweated profusely. Now it's of no use and can't be returned. I've no idea what I would be doing with it, lol. So please, don't just think of buying it by reading those positive reviews. Try to find out whether it's authentic or not(I don't know how though because you'll find this product popping up first in google under best antiperspirants for face but then everything in google isn't true! ) before buying or else you gonna repent like me. Ich habe schon lange nach einem Produkt für's Gesicht gesucht, welches die Haut nicht "gefühlt" wegätzt. Hier ist es. Natürlich stoppt es nicht komplett die Schweissbildung. Dennoch fühlt es sich wesentlich trockener an. Wichtig ist, das Produkt dünn aufgetragen wird. Ich konnte auch keine klebrige Schicht oder Ausflockung beobachten. Zugegebener Maßen - angenehmer Geruch ist anders, aber das verfliegt sofort. Mir ermöglicht es jetzt zumindest, wieder ein leichtes Make Up zu tragen. It works, like REALLY works. I live in Alabama and sweat would poor down my face after just 5 minutes outside. First time using it, my hair under my hat was drenched & my neck and chest were drenched, but my face was perfectly dry! Lasts all day. Can be used under moisturizer and makeup, but wait several minutes after applying it to ensure it's completely dry before applying anything else. It's very light and barely noticeable once it's absorbed. If you have dry skin, you'll want to use moisturizer. It has a slight scent when applied, but scent doesn't last. It's tough to wash off. I use a wet washcloth & facial cleanser to lightly scrub it off.
