I had to replace this adapter 2–3 times initially due to compatibility issues. After getting a working unit, it performed well and the display output was good. However, after about 5–6 months of normal use, the adapter started developing issues again, such as unstable display output and connection problems. If you need it for occasional use, it may be fine, but if you're looking for a reliable long-term solution, you might want to consider a better-quality adapter.

Don't buy this product. It's doesn't work at all. Totally west of money. From the day 1 it's not working and also we can't return it. Totally disappointed with this product.. I will give zero star rating to this product..

My use case - to connect my Dell laptop with VGA monitor as second/extended screen. I bought this item last October -2025 and it stopped working by first week of August 2026, i.e., around 10 months. Observations: Signal less reliable, heating issues, needed poking or cable adjustment for reliable view/display. Bought it for claim of 1 year warranty. Best - If you need very economical adapter and do not unplug & plug very frequently - keep it plugged forever to the VGA cable and only plug/unplug the HDMI end to the devices. My recommendation - if your laptop supports type C-USB, go for adapters which support VGA-USB Type C, as overall reliability compared to HDMI-VGA cable/adapter is far superior.
