SnuggleSafe Comforts Cushion Bonzo The Dog with Special Pocket for Microwave Heatpad

Got this and the heat pad for our new young puppy, best decision. Expensive but well worth it she loved it and snuggled up to it, a great comforter for a new puppy, really made a difference in settling her to sleep at night time and she's play with it during the day, chewing on its ears and tail. Still in one piece. Other reviewers have said a different colour would be good, certainly agree with this, as white is not the best colour, it doesn't clean well. We've taken it away for now as it was too hot for her with the warmer weather, but we'll bring it back for the winter to give her something to snuggle up too at bedtime.

I felt extravagant buying this for the arrival of my puppy, especially with all the other expenses associated with having a new puppy, however, it was definitely money well spent. I bought the microwaveable insert to go inside it which stays warm ALL night! Still warm in the morning. The microwaveable pad itself is rock hard but it then goes inside the cuddly dog cushion (Velcro fastening for the opening) and the result is a large soft cushion for my puppy to lie up against or on top of, rather like mum / litter siblings. I’m convinced it has helped her sleep through the night. She has slept through without a peep since the very first night, and doesn’t even wake to want to go to relief herself, she’s just managing to hold on till morning which is incredible for her age! I didn’t think it was possible and that she must surely be wetting the bedding,but I have left the crate door open (she sleeps in a small utility room at night and can do no damage in there or come to any harm) and the floor is dry in the morning. So she’s must really feel very at home in her crate to sleep all night so peacefully. I am convinced this warm dog has really helped. I also inserted a heart beat device (from another product) into this product, so there is warmth plus heart beat. It was looking a bit grimey after a bit, so I washed it and it has washed very well and been in the tumble drier on a low heat setting. My puppy has also learnt when it’s bedtime because, in the morning I remove the microwaveable pad, (to make the cushion lighter and she can play with it a bit, and it is even softer then) and then at bedtime she sees me heating the pad in the microwave and putting it inside the dog-cushion, and dog-cushion then goes in crate and puppy knows it’s time to settle down for the night. 😊 I’ve been very pleased with this product.

Lovely snuggleSafe teddy, nice and soft, easy to wash and a nice big size for our puppy. Nice and padded howeve can't feel the heat from the heat pad very well because of this but still warm to touch.

I purchased this for a comfort for my new puppy as the reviews I read were good. I have done what I read others have. He get this at bedtime in crate and he loves it. I did also purchase the heat pad to go inside but it was so hot the week we got him I didn’t need it. He know this is part of his bedtime routine along with a small treat and I see him bite it with excitement and when we get up in the morning he is still cuddled up with it. As he has such sharp teeth at the moment I’m pleasantly surprised how there is no damage to it. I check every morning. Great product my puppy has had this since day one and he has slept though the night since we first brought him home.

I really struggled over how many stars to give this; the creators of this got so many things right, but they really let the side down with sloppy QA when it comes to the stitching. I can totally understand why some people have given it one star and warned about safety; that said if you're prepared to shore up the weak seams yourself, then the quality of sleep it'll give your dog is worth 4/5 stars. I compromised on 3 stars. Here's a quick list of the good and bad points as I see them: - When paired with the "Snugglesafe" heatpad, this really does provide a gentle long-lasting warmth that almost guarantees your dog a deep, restful sleep, whether they rest directly on Bonzo or just snuggle up beside him. I say "gentle" warmth, because even when fresh out of the microwave the heat delivered is just right, and somehow it really does stay at that level for hours. I bet it feels just like being back in a puppy pile for the dog itself. Absolutely brilliant. - The cuteness. You'll love seeing your dog curled up with his new snooze partner. - The heat pad has to be bought separately, so factor that into the cost. - The stitching is *appallingly* bad, especially around the neck. My boy gently rearranged Bonzo on the sofa before we'd put the heavy heat pad inside and nearly decapitated him. I gently picked up Bonzo to check the damage and my fingers went straight through the seams in the armpit area. Honestly I would recommend carefully checking and restitching your Bonzo as necessary before first use if you decide to get one. - We actually got two Bonzos, one for each of our two Beagles. Both of them were wrapped in plastic bags but both had dirt on their white undersides, presumably from the factory floor. You shouldn't need to clean up a new dog toy as soon as you unbox it. - Even if the stitching was better, this wouldn't last five minutes with a destructive dog.

SnuggleSafe Comforts Cushion Bonzo The Dog with Special Pocket for Microwave Heatpad I was hesitant to buy this as some of the reviews referred to the dangerous zip but i decided to go ahead because the product sounds perfect for my future pup and if needed could easily remove zip and add velcro ,i have to say it has arrived with an updated velcro fastening so really happy about that ,i have tried the heatpad and its just perfect temperature for a little pup ,i am now well and truly prepared for the arrival of my pup in a couple of weeks and hopefully this will give comfort in its new home ,Well done snugglesafe on the velcro upgrade

I hate writing negative reviews but as i was encouraged to buy this due to the positive comments i feel i have to tell my experience of it. Basically i bought it to be a comfort for my new puppy at night, i also bought the heat pad that is available separately to go inside, that item i can highly recommend, however this one i wouldn't touch...the first couple of nights i didn't put it in his bed incase it got soiled, so i just had it in the lounge and he snoozed on it..really cute! However in a couple of days he started to play with it and by the end of one week it was ruined...i don't have a wild wolf, just an 8 week old cocker spaniel! The problem is the zip, it is plastic, which is safer than metal yes, but it is totally exposed and he just started chewing it and within ten minutes it was broken....as i said, by the end of a week it was ruined, because once he had broken the zip and chewed it a bit more i had to very carefully remove it to prevent him harming himself and then the inside was exposed...it then only took him the next day to rip through to the stuffing. As well as this issue the outer fabric was very poor and we found bit of it all over the floor where it had shed. To sum up, it looks and sounds like a great product but it is poorly made and you would be better off simply buying the heat pad and tucking it under your pet's bedding.

Brought one previously but the seam wasn't stitched properly around the ear so had to return but glad I ordered another one because my little Chihuahua loves it and when I got out and he has to stay in he lies on the dog all the time I am out which I know to be a fact as I have a Webcam so I can check up on him whilst I am out to make sure he his ok and every time I check on him he is lying on this dog. Likewise when he goes to bed if I check on the webcam he is snuggled up in the middle of it. I think the idea is to put in a dogs basket but my puppy is so tiny this is big enough for him to sleep on. Haven't gone through the winter with it yet but have purchased the microwave heat disc which I am sure my puppy will love because he feels the cold and likes to be warm. So impressed ordered a spare one just in case not available in the future because I think my puppy would miss this if he didn't have it to sleep on. I highly recommend.

La verdad es que tenía mis dudas de si comprarlo o no, pero fue una muy buena idea. Ya que es acolchada y suave, del tamaño perfecto para la almohadilla snugglesafe y además ayuda a mantener el calor de la almohadilla por más tiempo, evitando también que cuando está más caliente pueda dañar a mi perro. A mi perro le gusta mucho porque es suave y sabe que está caliente, cuando tiene frío va directo a él. Además es de fácil mantenimiento, yo ya lo he lavado varias veces en la lavadora y sigue en muy buen estado. I have a very small dog who became lonely after my other dog passed away. She snuggles up next to this stuffed dog when she sleeps. During the winter I heat the insert so to give her something warm to snuggle up to. It launders well, but takes a very long time in the dryer to get completely dry. Overall, this has been a good buy and I recommend if you are looking for something to comfort your dog.
