We tried a few stands to serve both as a phone holder in lieu of hands and as a table top stand for the heavier mag and non mag safe phones. This unit solves both. The larger heavier phones don’t easily tip over in any direction horizontally on this stand compared to other stands we tried due to the slightly wider base on this stands design. This stands up better compared to those others very well. No pun intended. The tilt function is very versatile for different vertical positions while on the table top or while held on hands. The 360 degree rotation of the phone requires removing the phone and re-attaching but not a deal breaker since phone rotation occurs very seldom. Using the stand to hold the phone in lieu of hands works very well. The aluminum is light and edges are not sharp enough to cut through the skin. The padding underneath the stands base and behind the phone is thick enough to sustain shock, provides good anti-slip grip and is definitely of good quality material. Other mag safe holders have one major quality control defect, and that is, if one can see an impression of the magnets over the pad, then the material chosen by the manufacturer is cr*p. Manufacturers don’t realize how badly this simple cheap selection affects their product return rate and their margins (just select better padding, wider bases, and better finishes to get more return customers, less product returns and increased margins…all from just the simple important requirements). This stand has definitely impressed us with quality and functionality. Even the packaging is impressive. We definitely recommend you try this unit out. We do not get paid to advertise this product. Great magnets and very sturdy. I read some review and it was complaining about issues I’ve yet to see arise. Pretty good product. Works with my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Convenient holder, metal, sort of heat dissipation while charging. But the magnets should be much stronger

Great design, solid build, holds the phone well. Be sure that your MagSafe phone case has a strong enough magnet in it. I use the MagSafe case from Chitri for the iPhone 12 pro and it holds it very well, swivels great too. Did a lot of research of all available stands before purchasing this one. Highly recommend it.

Everything about this product is amazing but the magnet part that is connected to the ball bearing on the back is loose after a month of use. Still good to use but you can feel the slack when adjusting the viewing angle. I was hoping mine wasn't having the issues like the other people who reviewed this item. Read the reviews its great besides the slack at the ball bearing.
