I love this. Its is powerful enough but really light and folds up small. I little cloth case might have been nice, but I've used a little handbag cover. I have in the past borrowed fancy Dyson type hairdryers before but they kept cutting out as they got too hot. This has enough heat and power for me, and I like a robust hairdryer. Give it a go.

It is quite a compact hair dryer for 2000 W. There are many smaller travel hair dryers but they are almost invariably less powerful, which I find takes too long to dry my long hair, so this hair dryer seemed very attractive. When it is folded up, it measures 20 cm x 14 cm x 9 cm overall, excluding the cord, so it is much more compact than an average 2000 W hair dryer. It fits comfortably in the bag that it comes with. The bag feels quite sturdy, so it should last for quite some time. The hair dryer itself seems much lighter than most 2000 W hair dryers. It feels 'plasticky' as a result, but this is a compromise I am prepared to take to reduce the weight I carry around when travelling. It does not mean it is too flimsy though - I have put it in a corner of my checked baggage and it has survived without any issues at all despite some rough handling by both airline baggage handlers and myself. The description mentions "dual voltage adapter" but there is no separate adapter - it is just a simple matter of turning a switch with a screw driver, so it is even more convenient. Functionally, it dries my hair just as quickly as I would expect from other 2000 W hair dryers, so its performance does not seem to be compromised by it being light-weight. During first use, it smelled strange, which I believe came from the chemicals used during manufacturing process or protective coating which was evaporating from heat. It did not last long though, and within a few minutes it was no longer emitting that smell. However, I do recommend using it in a well-ventilated area if you are using it for the first time, as the smell is not exactly pleasant. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product, especially for the price I paid (£9.99, from Amazon.co.uk) but I'd have happily paid more for it.

I chose this because off the 2000W. The power does make a difference! I dry my long albeit fine hair in about 4 minutes. Travel case is handy. I use it for my toiletries rather than as a case for the dryer itself. It's a nice size. I have noticed that some cool air does come down through the cord shaft. Not sure why but it doesn't seem to affect the performance. I would like it if this hair dryer had a cold air trigger. My previous one had a button you could hold down which would turn off the heat and allow you to set your hair once it was dried from the heat, but I am happy with this purchase. I use it as my everyday dryer and I travel with it.

My normal hairdryer is a Dyson and nothing can quite compare to the speed and quality of the dry from that. However it's price tag makes it an expensive option for travelling if it goes missing or damaged. Since it was off to a pool holiday and knew there was no hairdryer at the venue I needed something cheap, light and powerful to cope with my thick hair. Having read the reviews this seemed like a good option and it really is. It might not be the lightest of travel hairdryers but it is smaller than a standard hairdryer but still packs a punch. At 2000W it's as good as many full size dryers and did my hair much quicker than the piddly hotel ones. I did find my hair was rather flyaway and didn't have it normal sheen but it was dry in a reasonable time. It's not a day to day dryer for me but I'd have no problems taking it travelling and would recommend it to others.

J'ai commandé cet article sur le site d'Amazon France je les reçu rapidement mais la prise de courant est une prise Anglaise et non compatible en France . De coup je n'ai pas pu le tester . De Coup j'ai commandé un adaptateur et je dois attendre encore une semaine pour le tester. Donc forcement déçu de cet achat.

Returned. I receive the product with a really bad packaging and the item has scratches. Seems that it was used. In addition, the blower is getting too hot.

Vorsicht!! Es ist ein US-amerikanischer Stecker montiert! Netterweise wird ein Adapterstecker für Deutschland mitgeliefert, aber wer will das schon!!! Zudem wiegt allein der Stecker mit Adapter 85 Gramm. Eigentlich bestellte ich einen Reiseföhn u.a. wegen des geringen Gewichts.
