I returned one and got the same refill roll the second time so I am returning it. The roll is large and the box with cutter would be very helpful and was expecting that since it's in the description.

The cutter is hard to use. It doesn’t go across smoothly. I kept it because I can just use a pair of scissors to cut across the plastic.

The quality for both of the box and film comes within a good shape.

I’ll start with the positives for this plastic wrap dispenser.1) The plastic is very clingy. In fact, when I pulled it out of the dispenser, it immediately clung to each other. I had to peel it apart to put it on my bowl. Despite the inconvenience of trying to peel it apart, I’d rather have TOO clingy than NOT clingy at all.2) The dispenser comes with 4 suction cups to be placed on the bottom. It really helps to prevent box from shifting when pulling out the plastic.3) The cutter slides easily and cuts the plastic well. An extra cutter is included.Now, the Negatives:1) It’s huge- 14” X 4.5” and 4” tall. It takes up a lot of space on my kitchen counter.2) No offense to the manufacturer, but the plastic container is just not attractive at all and their logo is on the cover. It looks blah on my counter. The color of the container is an off-white to yellow color. It looks like it has already been exposed to kitchen smoke and grease.Although I think it’s not suited for my kitchen, I think this product would be great for food prep at a restaurant or food truck. Plastic wrap can be dispensed easily and rapidly. You also get 1300 feet. To refill it, the top can be lifted open and the refill roll placed inside. The refill roll sells for $19 but only has 650 feet of wrap. The width is the same as what is sold in store, but it’s better to buy in bulk. I rated it 4 stars because of its uninspiring appearance on my counter.

I'll be honest, I kind of have a personal vendetta against plastic wrap. I hate how it always wants to stick to itself when you're removing it from the roll, and the cheap cardboard boxes never seem to tear well, so it always ends up stretching or being uneven. It's not the end of the world, but it's just a bit frustrating. This plastic wrap container doesn't completed alleviate those issues, but it certainly helps! The little plastic device you run over the plastic wrap works well to tear it, which just makes life a lot easier. The quality of the plastic wrap is good, not anything out of the ordinary, but in line with other plastic wraps I've used.I do wish the device was a little less bulky or more aesthetically pleasing, as it takes up a lot of space, and is too big to fit into the drawer where we usually put plastic wrap. Additionally, mine only came with three rubber feet instead of four, which isn't great. However, I do feel like the pros outweigh the cons, at least for me personally. I just wish this kitchen device was a bit more affordable for what you receive.Overall, this plastic wrap dispenser isn't bad, but there are certainly some things that could be improved upon. Regardless, it's still an improvement to a traditional cardboard plastic wrap dispenser.

In terms of the value, most of this is in the dispenser which has a good cutter and dispenses cling film without it getting tangled up or the end getting stuck to the roll (which is an issue with non-dispenser plastic wrap). The container is utilitarian though as it isn't especially stylish. There are little suction cups if you want to anchor it to your counter. I'm not sure if they're meant to be strong enough to mount them to a wall, but I don't think it'd hold for a pull of the cling film anyway. I keep my dispenser in a drawer.The plastic wrap itself is slightly disappointing. It's strong enough, but it doesn't stick very well to itself or anything else. If I wrap meat in it, some of the edges start to curl up unless I place the food with the end-side down to secure them. It will hold okay, but this would not be my first choice. However, once the dispenser is empty, I can replace it with better wrap.
