After being on my wish list for a few months & much searching for THE perfect journal for me I finally bought this one.It's a beautifully bound hardcover that comes in a sturdy slip-case. It's massive! The cover is a cream canvas that could easily be decorated if desired. Inside you'll find places for all sections of your life, you can begin from birth if you like, or like me you could could just use it to capture good times & express yourself creatively by adding photos, drawings, narratives, perceptions on life....literally anything, it's big enough!I'll be buying two more, one for each of my children & writing their own life story in it to give them when they're older, then they can write the rest down themselves & read about all the special & everyday moments that mean so much.I'd give this ten out of ten for value, quality & sheer possibilities!

The book is great. I can now write down my garden journals, instructions in case I forget what I need to do, write down about vegetables/herbs.Take photos and insert photos in the book.I also have my family cookbook. They make great journal handbooks.I hope they will make another journal/handbooks for photography (camera) and digital arts (iPad) or arts (painting/drawing).

Researched a lot of journals for gardening and this is by far the best. There’s a section for everything you need including one for designing your own garden ( blank with grids.) Sections for different seasons, plant records etc. Really thick book and i love it!

I ordered this & asked my friend for some of her favourite pictures, one I used on the front to create "The book of Deb" with a personalised note to her inside - she loved it,at 50 plus you don't need more things just a place to remember and put all your memories what a great project for all those long dark winter evening sshemaile dme to say shes starting on News Years day to fill this fab memories book/diary - bit less formal than a diary and you can add notes to it as you remember or write them. I looked at cheaper options but love the details in the front and all the space inside - a great buy and has had the desired effect. Would buy again

It is a handy book for first time gardenersIt comes with a page on tools needed, with photos so know you're getting the correct thingsA glossary for terminology, to know what you are actually doing and to do research etcA few pages on different types of plants, indoor, outdoor, edible, etc which is handy to select what you have and search up things you might want to add to your collectionA second for wildlife too, also a little task on how to make your own little homes for the smaller wildlife in your gardenHome remedies for when plants become poorly and a blank sheet opposite to add your own remediesA page for top tips, a blank page for your ownA few dotted pages and grid pages to draw your garden plan ideasA few pages on gardens to visit and what inspiration you got from them(A few too many pages of these in my opinion)It has a section on seasons and what to do to prepare your garden so you can organize yourself which I find is quite helpful if you have an allotment or a large garden where you grow vegetables or possibly flowers needed, again, I do think there are a few too many pages involved, but then I don't need to use these pages as of yet.The pages detailing what you have planted is great, very simply presented; I personally tape the seed packet to the "Photo" section and fill out as necessary; I add what I would change for the following time I plantTowards the end of this section there is quite a few pages to add your own pictures, yet again, I believe this isn't really a necessary part of the book, maybe a couple of pages, but not as many as provided, also the journal part is quite long, but then again, I don't really need this part personally, it could be handy for others with active allotments.Then a part at the end for adding your own recipes is a cute touch, but I would rather take them out and add more pages about seeds plantedOverall, this book I would say would only last a year's gardening, A few too many pages of certain things, but otherwise it is a really lovely book for first time gardeners!Highly recommend, also, the book comes in a nice sleeve which keeps everything together and the book nice and cleanI will buy again

This is great. Seems a little bit bonkers to buy a big book full of blank pages but such a great idea. I bought it for a family member for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. Good quality with sporadic little hints of what to write if you're struggling. Best thing is - it's yours and you write what you want in it. Start from the beginning of your life, or the middle, or from today backwards. Great gift - the only downside is that I didn't think of it.

What made me laugh is at the back of this 100 year diary is the offer of a complimentary copy to continue your life story if you've filled the entire thing :) I hope it's still a valid offer in 100 years because I'll hold them to that!A great diary, 6 pages to a year (spring, summer, autumn, winter, highlights, picture); a world map to show where you've been/lived; a blank human outline to draw tattoos, piercings, scars and whatnot; milestone pages every 10 years for favourite things, times, and future hopes and goals; a 50 things to do before you die section...there's plenty more and I guess the diary is only good if you make it good, it is a life story after all.The pages are fairly thin (which is expected considering how many pages there are) so don't use fine-liners, marker-pens, or things like that as the ink will soak through quite easily. Biro and roller-ball pens have been fine.
