Good quality and sound
This is actually a great crash, has lasted me way longer than I thought and has a nice tone to it. Totally worth it

Decent rehearsal cymbals
These are not high quality cymbals, but so far, every Arborea cymbal I've bought, has been unbreakable. They're ideal for rehearsals. Then, take your nice cymbals to the gig, or to record. That'll lessen the wear and tear.

Better than expected
The crash cymbals are very thin, but have a much better sound than expected for the price. The hi-hats are almost unplayable when closed, so you have to keep them somewhat open when playing closed notes. The ride bell is smaller than i’m ised to but overall they’re well worth the price and they look good too

So far Great!
Bought these as replacement cymbals because my son who just took up drumming split the cymbal with the kit. So far these are working well. I ended up buying a second one as well. I definitely would buy again!!

A tonal, vibrating mystery. Ouch!
A seasoned, once serious drummer. Way "disappointed". Cymbal tone is important and I thought I could get by with this 14" crash. Not! Cymbals are, or Should be Inherently Neutral in pitch and/or tone. They should "go with anything"-- so to speak. This Crash tone is "Gong-ish" and almost Alien. One hit made me squint my eyes. Seriously. I've been playing since 1965 and know better(?!) and saw that the reviews were well above average, enough so to take a chance for a "practice cymbal" Wrong. Beginners warning. A very Bad sounding cymbal can also discourage you. Bad sound is bad. Truth: A renown quality cymbal WILL ALWAYS SELL WELL, SECOND HAND IF A DRUMMER QUITS DRUMMING--ALWAYS! It's a safe investment! I will return and spend more on an Inspiring, not Depressing, quality cymbal. Sorry Arborea But, it actually sounds like a small cheap. low pitch gong, not a bright, "fill ending" exclamation point. Your Stainless steel (?) based alloy in a cymbal doesn't work well. As of now, this is a pizza plate with a drainage hole.

These are like two dollar store sauce pan lids?
I have been playing drums for over 30 years and needed a cheap set of cymbals/hats for some practice sessions in a questionable space. I didn’t want to risk any of my good hat getting stolen, cracked or getting lost in the shuffle. I just needed something to closely approximate the sound and feel of hi-hats. These barely do that. I got these in the mail, open them and noticed how paper thin these are. Hey, thin is in when it comes to cymbals today??? I’ll give them a try? So the only way I can discribe the sound is: Bock! Bock! BOCK! They sound like the clucking from a robot chicken? Trashy and weird. No chick chick. The open and close effect is so washy and impotent it’s not a thing with these. Would I buy these for a secondary hi-hat effect mounted somewhere else on my kit? Yes. These would be cool for a trashy effects experiment I suppose? I feel like I could find two flat metal items at the dollar store that could come close to having the same effect these create. These would be ok for a 5 to 8 year old beginner on a starter kit. I’m going to send these back and look for some old ZBTs or some Sabian B8s on an auction site. Back in the day I used to make fun of the ZBT and B8 line of cymbals. They are far superior to the sauce pan lids I just bought.
