SIMPLY THE BEST Long blades, super sharp, wonderful quality tailer's scissors. My wife says there is nothing better. Easy to use/cut with and very accurate to use. These were a replacement for her same scissors which were getting blunt. They could possibly been sharpened but at £30 it was safer to buy new factory sharp scissors. These are only used for material, never cutting paper !! They last for ages but like us they do wear out with constant use. They can cut just about any material with ease and are an essential for people who need quality long scissors.

I have had these for several years now and they work as well as they did on day 1. Nice and sharp, cut in everyday use really easily.

I chose these as reviews were good and to be different from my current ones, so that I knew which was which. They cut well but they are very chunky and heavy and not comfortable to work with. Think I will have to buy another draper pair as well. 🙁

I've had the little disk shaped sharpener from fiskars for years and though it was good at honing an already present edge, over time the scissors ive got have become blunt (ta v much partner using my expensive fiskars dressmaking scissors to strip a wire when changing a plug.... and my expensive fiskars embroidery scissors to cut her toenails... I could go on and its best to laugh else I'd weep with sheer despondent misery that my partner has so little concept of the importance of super sharp scissors! Except she always notices "wow these are great scissors!" Right before ruining them.... <sigh>) anyhoo, the wee disk shaped orange gadget is really no good if you need to sharpen out nicks and inconsistent blade areas. I did try another knife/scissor sharpener prior to this but, honestly, it was basically useless. So I plumped for foskars own. It was nothing short of miraculous! My embroidery scissors which no longer snipped the tail off when using a machine to sew, rather bent the cotton round the blade in a disappointing fashion (!! SO FACEPALMINGLY UNACCEPTABLE!!) are now razor sharp and pretty much good as new!! Im actually gobsmacked! I have several pairs of fiskars scissors after being brought up by a sewing enthusiast and creative types and being a creative type and sewing person myself, the absolute necessity of decent cutting edges is indisputable if you want to enjoy your projects rather than swear at them!! The swearing time has now passed for me, and after just a few cuts through the sharpener with each pair, too! It was so quick it felt ludicrous and way too simple, like shluld I wait for the bit where the scissors fall apart just to complicate things? But nope, it really was that simple. Scissors in, use them to cut the wee bar in the scissor sharpening area, repeat 3-4 times, hey presto! Sharp scissors! My biggest regret is not buying this 18 months ago so I could avoid all that oroject swearing and project avoidance on account of shoddy tools. Fiskars are, in my opinion, a very reliably decent brand. I used to think way over proved, but honestly, I've tried using cheaper, inferior stuff and it isn't worth it. Their garden tools are pretty sh!t hot too btw, if you garden enthusiastically go and check those out!! Its a thumbs up from me!!

Me han gustado mucho estas tijeras de coser porque cortan muy bien la tela y son cómodas de manejar. Tienen buen filo y permiten hacer cortes precisos sin esfuerzo. En general, me parecen prácticas y de buena calidad para coser.

Great product, easy to use. Work well. Saves buying new scissors which is far better, economically and environmentally.
