Unfortunately I ordered these in the hot weather and two of the colours have leaked out of their pans. ☹️

I got this as an anniversary present from my partner. One had leaked out if the pan and stuck to the lid. Some had gaping holes in them and some weren't filled properly. There was no consistency in the pans which is quite disappointing considering the metallics were barely filled. Couldnt even message the company with these issues.With the negatives out of the way, the pigments are pretty good. Easy to use. I like them.

I bought this set mainly for use in coloring books, so I didn't need professional artist quality, but still wanted something better than the basic sets for kids. I am an artist & have used the fun, cheapo kids sets as well as more quality watercolor paints. I am super pleased with this set~There 40 colors, cool & warm tones, basic neutrals, metallics & neons. The paints are very pigmented & work beautifully as a very watery watercolor & as a rich creamy gauche.They come in a metal tin with a hinged lid. Each little pan (measuring 1 1/8" by 1/2" & just over 1/4" tall) can be removed from the tray they come in & is coded on the back with a number & color name, which coordinate with the included swatch card. I highly recommend using a swatch card, since the colors are so concentrated many of them look almost black in the pans. They are slightly softer than regular pan watercolors & go onto the brushes easily, no need to "scrub" the brush into them. They seem to blend/mix well, very easy to get a basic beige'y skin tone (yellow ochre & a dash of crimson).The only "issue" I have is the tin they come in has no palate, so I transferred them to an old metal watercolor box with an attached palate/lid. Now, with the water brush pens (& a white fabric rag to wipe/clean the brushes on), I can easily take them along, wherever I go.I'm not sure about their lightfastness, but, as mentioned, I'm gonna mainly use them in coloring books, so that isn't a concern.For the price, this is an awesome set, all around. I'm very pleased with this purchase & would gladly give this product as a gift!

I have used these regularly for last year and still have a lot of product. Pigment is easy to manipulate. Would recommend for beginners

Love these. They are very affordable and very pigmented and pretty. It comes in a compact metal tin with a plastic divider to protect your paints.. And it has a glued on color chart you can fill in with swatches as the colors look very different in the pans. I'm assuming due to high pigmentation, some pan colors look black but when swatched are very pretty teals and blues.There is an odor but it's not that bad and smells like a typical paint smell.Also the metalics are my favorite. That purple is soooo pretty. It's like a reddish purple / magenta with blue shimmer. You do have to swirl in them quite a bit to get the full depth of color and shimmer but I have other metallic watercolors that do the same and despite digging in them I havent made any dent in the pans so far. You can go light for a slight glittery effect or heavy for full on metallic. It's quite magical. The neons look like highlighters they are so bright and they do glow under blacklight.Basically I love these and if you love watercolors or are just wanting to try them they are absolutely worth the buy and the price is amazing for such variety and quality.

These are fantastic paints, they were intimidating for me to use as a beginner however, especially not knowing HOW to use such saturated paints. I think in a few months time, once I've learnt how to handle watercolor these are going to be fantastic to take the next step with.
