BG244 DIESEL FUEL SYSTEM CLEANER - FAST AND FREE DELIVERY!

I personally found that Redex didn't make any difference and someone recommended me to try this. I never heard of it before and it looks like an energy drink or household cleaner on the outside but WOW did it deliver. Maybe it is the equivalent of an energy drink for a car! Note that the BG244 is for DIESEL and the BG44 is for PETROL. Before the cleaner, I was noticing some minor issues with my car. The idle was fairly uneven, cold starts were lumpy and often required to try to start the car twice to get it to run smooth; and it was a little flat power wise below 2000 rpm. The trick here is, to get a funnel and place it into the fuel tank. This makes it easy to pour in and none of it is wasted! You only need half of this can at a time, and I'd recommend putting it in BEFORE you put in 60 litres (or completely fill) your tank of diesel. This way, it seems to mix better. ONE can should be enough annually even if you do a lot of miles or very few miles pottering around the town/city centre. Well, a 30 mile drive with this in, seemed to force the car to do a DPF regeneration which it hadn't done prior. It only takes a few minutes to do and can be performed successfully on main roads where you can cruise along at a decent speed, I recommend trying to keep the revs to around 2000 and above whilst this is happening. Afterwards though I stopped the car and turned off the engine there was an almighty burning smell which smelt like a mix of diesel and this stuff. Don't be surprised if your car also does the same, I think it just goes to show it was ALREADY working it's magic! I can happily report that the cold starts and flat spot has improved greatly, along with switching to standard BP diesel (going from supermarket low sulphur diesel) and I think that only replacing the EGR valve and/or Mass Air Flow meter could resolve it totally perhaps, along with a re-map! I have a response to some people giving this lower than a 3 star rating: If your car is running EXTREMELY poorly and you are getting poor consumption and next to no throttle response the chances are, this and no other cleaner on the market could solve the issue. It's likely that you have something wrong with your car mechanically; like the aforementioned EGR and MAF sensor for example; which are an annoyance on pretty much every modern diesel engine! If however the car is running OK-ish but could do of a bit of a "tune-up" then this MAY work, and it will certainly be better than anything "Halfrauds" will sell you!

I currently drive a remapped 2009 Volvo V70 2.0 diesel (henceforth known as REO Swedewagon) - bought it last year from a chap who'd owned it from new, and done 78k in the 10 years he'd had it. Not a hard life by Volvo standards by any means, and had been serviced religiously at his local Volvo dealer. Fools and their money and all that, but I digress... Engine was a bit... agricultural, to say the least. Very clattery when cold and the occasional struggled start. Around town it would actually vibrate you in your seat, it was that bad. Motorways were better but still quite noisy, even as well insulated and solid as the V70 is. Quite smoky when cold too. I treated the old girl to a tank of V-Power which made no difference, so I bought some of this magical stuff. Another £90 poorer thanks to another tank of V-Power, I poured this into the tank (no poopna provided, sadly - had to use a funnel from the kitchen) and now the engine is smooth, much quieter, no smoke, no struggled starts, and it's like a different car. Even my mother in law commented on how much quieter the car seemed, entirely unprompted. Economy is about the same, averaging 40mpg between town and motorway driving... but that's probably more to do with the fact I yob around in it like an idiot who's nicked his grandad's car. tl;dr - buy it!

I put this in the car a few weeks ago with a full tank of fuel and I must admit since then the car runs a lot better. I've spent so much on my car ( glow plugs, injectors checked and adjusted, air, oil and fuel filters all changed, top quality oil used on change etc etc ) but still had issues with rough idling, occasional smoke from unburnt fuel and the garage were running out of ideas but after using this I must admit the car is a lot quieter, sounds smoother and the rough idling, smoking issues have all but gone even when engine is cold. After such an improvement from 1 can I am tempted to put another in as when the glow plugs were changed they found a lot of carbon build up as 2 plugs haven't been working for along time and I'm guessing that's where a lot of the issues came from but will probably wait a few months as I'm not sure how often you can put this stuff in but will definitely be using it again. When I read the reviews, I thought this would be a really great product.I had running problems so thought id give this a punt and day one of adding this stuff,my Navara seemed to run better and I was really pleased, but by day two the running rough continued which indicated a more in depth problem, so unsure if this will really do anything,but will update once its fixed and running again.

I have a MK5 VW Golf 2.0 GT TDI. My pride and joy, my precious. I thought I would need a funnel (hence from this moment onwards, called a poopna) but you get a sturdy plastic cardboard poopna which does the trick. I waited until I had 20 miles in the tank, pulled up to a petrol station, whipped out the cardboard poopna...glugged the can down and then filled up with diesel. I then went for a 20 mile drive. My god the difference was startling. Gone was the slight rumble and shake that I sometimes got when car was stationary. I swear I had more response from the throttle and my fuel efficiency has gone up. Well up. After the drive, the computer was reported an increased of 40 miles in the range. Now I know the range isn't the most scientific way of determining these things but it has never done that (unless you count the time I drove like a grand dad to Edinburgh from Glasgow, in 6th gear at 57mph). The thing to note and what other reviews are perhaps not touching is that you cannot/should not do short journeys. If you do them frequently, then get a petrol … or …. every now and then, just thrash the car to get rid of any build-up in your engine or fuel system. I used to fill up my car every 3 weeks. Looking at the range and the fuel indicator 1 week on...it does appear that it will be very 4.5 weeks that I will fill up. Should have got this product ages ago. I have a reminder set on my calendar to buy another one of these cans of miracle in 6 months. Oh and you should actually buy a proper poopna as if you have a diesel car then you should be checking and topping up oil regularly. Look under the product, Amazon are selling this product with a suitable poopna at a reasonable rate. Happy driving!

I have worked on Cars for years. Had a car showing all the classic signs of blocked injectors. Didn't have the time to really tackle the job. Saw this and thought id give it ago. I was very very dubious and 90% sure it wouldn't work... I was 100% wrong. This stuff is Amazing.... Showed an instant improvement... Car is running perfectly.. engine management light is off... It's faster, more responsive and no more smoke 👍. I will be using this on all my future cars the day I purchase them. And yearly there after. Absolutely great stuff. You'd be an idiot not to try it 👍👍
