Appears well constructed with 'rubberised' grip where it counts, the tape feels comfortable in the hand. Supplied with a wrist strap and a belt hook so shouldn't get lost. Now to work. Extend the tape and an internal cam stops the tape retracting. Very useful when measuring long lengths. The tape has large clear readouts in both metric and imperial with the tape 'hook' being triple riveted for extra strength. Finished measuring? At first sight it doesn't look as hard wearing as some other big brands. However, having used it every day in work on various construction sites, it does appear to be holding up well (despite a few drops).The measurements are clear and easy to read.Happy to buy again!

A great robust tape measure that should stand up to much abuse. Thick rubber on the outside and a brilliant locking retrieval tape system. The tape itself doesn't droop and is strong and clearly marked. The retrieval spring is quite powerful so it is better to feed in the tape holding on to it rather than let it fly back. A bit heavy but that just emphasises the quality.

I ordered this tape on the strength of the many good reviews it had received, sadly when it arrived yesterday it was not the same as advertised. The advert boasts a hook with 3 rivets "for strength" (all good tapes have 3 rivets), the images, both company & customer show this, my version has only 2? The branding on the side of the tape is totally different to all the other pictures on the advert.I've been in touch with the seller who states that "they have responded to customer feedback to improve the product", personally I don't believe that, how can 2 be stronger than 3! Its's probably been done to keep production costs down.Having said that, I think it will be OK for use around the home or the occasional DIYer, however, time will tell if it will stand up to heavy use. My guess is that it won't survive the rigours of trade use, hope I'm wrong, we'll see.Also, & I know it's only a small gripe but the blurb states that the wrist band is made of rubber which indicates it should have some elasticity about it, but it hasn't. The loop is so small I can't imagine many tradesman will get their hand through it.I have attached a couple of images to show the obvious differences which clearly show the version I received is not as advertised!In essence it's probably an OK product for the price, but a Stanley it ain't!

Didn't retract properly after one day , bent at tip after 2 days started rusting after 3 days in the bin after 4!!

Tape too soft! Bend after first use!

Item arrived as stated (in 1 Day of order) Product as stated in product review.The tape readings are very clear and visible from quite a distance. Item is built very sturdy and will easily stand any rough daily use on worksite.The tape locks by it's self to the distance required and the spring return is very easy by just pressing the large button .A real professional piece of work equipment for the work site and around the house and garden

Great tape-sturdy and strong. Only reason I didn't rate a 5 is the edges are sharp and I cut myself on first use. I've stuck with it. Really great buy.
