Waterplant Snail Trap Get Rid Of Snails Naturally & Easily

Very disappointed with this product. Has not got rid of any of my snails and my fish just eat the stuff!!!

I use this whenever we get a snail 'invasion' in our aquarium. I find it preferable and more effective than chemical solutions - which can be a bit hit and miss anyway. Persistence is required to have a real impact. I bait the trap twice a day and leave it in the aquarium for about 12 hours. The snails can then be washed away under a tap. I place the trap in various locations in the aquarium and find that after a week or 10 days the snail population has diminished to be almost non-existent. I initially used the pellets that come with the trap. However, these are a tad expensive and I have found that a crushed algae tablet is just as good - and so much cheaper. Its not the quickest solution but I find it to be the safest and most effective.

Slow like a snail to get to work. But eventually, with constant emptying and reloading, I am getting there.

Was not a good product as my unwanted snails where not attracted to it at all!! So pointless. Would recommend assasin snails instead. Fast postage.

not good value but it works to a certain extent. Lettuce in a jam jar collects more snails than this.

It kinda works but doesn't catch that many snails. Maybe a dozen overnight - only we've got hundreds of them.

Genius invention. Best left overnight with no lighting. Absolutely full of snails in the morning. As concur with another reviewer, mix the pellets with plec or catfish food and the snails swarm the trap every time. Great way to cull your snails if your tank is overrun. Highly recommended!

Good value for money. Easy to set up and so far very effective. I clean the trap up to three times a day following a really bad infestation of snails and they are almost gone. Chemical free product which I would recommend and also buy again.
