La Riche Directions Turquoise Semi-Permanent Hair Colour 89ml

I used this products to dip dye my fairly dark brown hair, something I have wanted to do for ages. I was debating for a long time as to whether I should bleach the tips before applying this colour and after reading all the previous reviews that said it wouldn't work as well on unbleached hair I decided to use Jerome Russell Bblonde Hair Lightener (which was also really effective). Firstly I brushed all of my dry hair, fashioned a middle parting and separated all of my hair into 16 sections. Next I tied little hairbands about 15cm from the end of my hair to act as a guideline. After following the instructions on the packet, I left the bleach on for about an hour, washed it all out and used the conditioning shampoo provided and brushed the ends again. Whilst still fairly wet I applied La Riche Directions to the bleached parts and left for around 45 minutes. Finally I washed this out until the water was nearly clear and then left my hair to dry naturally. The results were INCREDIBLE. Not only is the colour a wonderfully bright, almost electric blue with a hint of green, the ends of my hair feel so nourished and not dry at all! So far it hasn't left blue anywhere too which is a bonus. I won't even mind when it fades because I can tell already from the less dyed parts that it's still going to be a lush teal colour. I would say that those on a bit of a tight budget or actually anyone in general should go for this product as I am very satisfied with it! I'll upload a picture of the results too. Really impressed with this dye. Easy to apply and went a long way. I have blond hair naturally but did bleach the ends to give it the best start. Still going strong although less vibrant with nice pastor colour now after 20 washes! Very impressed.

This turquoise hair dye came out exactly as I hoped it would, whilst being simple to apply on my ends as I went for a dip-dyed ombre look with this colour. I was looking for a nice colour between green and blue- this was it! I was thinking about getting Alpine green instead but it was too dark, this does fade however after a couple of good washes. But I still have half of it left considering I only dip dyed 2 inches of my black hair really (after bleaching though which is a lengthy process) and I'm going to apply it and re-dye my hair tips repeatedly until it's all used up! Product came quite quick too (7 in the morning) and the service was good. You only have to wait for about 15-20 minutes too for it to seep into the bleached hair, which was much faster than the time interval for bleaching my hair ( had to wait for 70 minutes..dark hair problems); but in conclusion purchase this product if you're looking for a nice cool blue/green colour..and it is turquoise-y too, more blue than green but fades to a weird blue-y green later on. Definitely worth it!

I can honestly say this shade is absolutely beautiful! My only problem (and the problem I have most with these dyes) is that they stain really badly if you use them straight from the pot. There is a technique to sort this though - dilute a tiny part of the dye with conditioner. This saves you staining and a lot of money to as you're not using so much each time.

Easy to use product: Shampoo, towel dry and massage in, leave for 15 mins at least and rinse out. Make sure you pop an old towel down or some newspaper, to catch the drips! I used 2 whole pots on bleached hair, the colour took quickly and came out very vivid & bright. My hair was very thick (before repeated bleaching) and very long, two pots covered it but I feel 3 would of been even better for a more intense coverage. I've recieved loads of comments and compliments on the colour. After the first wash I've lost some colour, but not loads. It will stain hands and under nails etc, so be prepared for that! But overall I'm super satisfied and will be buying again

I bleached my dark hair before using this product. It just looks so fab! It did go more green than turquoise on the bits that were more gingery when bleached, but it just adds a bit of depth to the colour. Please note that this dye will only work if you bleach your hair, or have very light hair to begin with. It has been about 6 weeks and my hair is still turquoisey green it's hardly washed out at all. In fact I have 1 or 2 cm of roots showing and the colour is still vibrant without me touching it up at all. I will definitely be buying this product again, and testing all the other colours too. It doesn't smell like hair dye at all. Its like a gel- substance. It doesn't dry your hair out or anything, and comes off skin easily :)

The product comes exactly as it is described and, as a first time self-hair colourer, this product was brilliant. I used it to dip-dye the ends of my hair and it was lovely to use, the brush made it easy to apply and the product doesn't have a strong smell, it just smells pleasant (unlike the bleach I had used before-hand). It takes very little time to process (15-30 mins) and afterwards it leaves a vibrant, accurate colour. I have not had a chance to find out if it fades quickly or not, but with so much in the tub left over, I know I can re-apply it 10 times over and still have some left. Brilliant product overall!

On pre-lightened hair this product is fantastic. The colour is an amasingly vibrant shade of turquoise which lasts well for one week and then starts to fade but doesn't look bad. I use it on one section of my fringe and generally re-colour every two weeks. Be careful when rinsing off the dye - if you have fair or high-lighted hair and are only colouring a portion - the run-off will stain! I manage to pin back all hair I'm not colouring and carefully wash the section with colour. If you get it on your skin it will stain, but a cleanser/toner will easily remove in most cases. I highly recommend - great value for money and easy to use.

Ist ein sehr schönes Türkis das stark färbt, auch die Haut. Daher hab ich mir schnell angewöhnt die Haarlinie einzucremen. Nach 2 mal auswaschen hört es bei mir weitestgehend auf abzufärben. Nach 5 mal Waschen ist die Farbe nur noch leicht zu sehen. Es bleibt in meinem Fall aber bis zum bitteren ende ein schönes Türkis und geht nicht in blau oder grün über.

Super produit, je ne suis pas déçue. Moi j'en mets que pour faire qques mèches, cela fait très joli et ça part au bout de qques shampoings. Je ne laisse poser que 15 mins comme s'est écrit et cela suffit, car c'est une couleur assez flashy mais c'est un très beau turquoise (je précise que j'ai une coloration blond moyen cendré + demis longueurs et pointes très blondes). Il parait que ça ne marche que sur les cheveux colorés ou décolorés, mais j'ai testé cette couleur sur une mèche de ma petite fille de 4 ans (sachant que le produit n'est pas chimique). Elle est très blonde et bien sûr naturel, et cela a aussi fonctionné ! Mais s'enlève plus rapidement au bout de 1 voire 2 shampoings. En tt cas ça lui a bien plu et avec sa jolie petite robe turquoise pour un mariage elle a fait fureur !
