Where I need metallic items to connect or hang. This configuration and strength are the best size to meet commercial needs.

Good value for the price! Perfect for crafts. I got the 1.5 inch long magnets and so far have used them as weights for my garden flags which constantly flap out of place in a mild breeze. Combined with a clip that keeps it aligned with the post, these magnets are strong enough to stay in place in a gale force wind (my previous magnets flew off into the yard). They are heavy enough to keep the flag in place, but light enough to allow some movement. These magnets are also a good size to use as refrigerator magnets just by themselves, but are a little difficult to grasp and remove due to their low profile. The included double side adhesive strips make it easy to attach the magnets to a photo frame or small object to decorate the refrigerator.

These magnets were the perfect solution to my dilemma with my bathroom shower door. The old magnet had long since failed and I tried many things like Velcro to keep the door closed during a shower. This worked perfectly, and I have 4 more magnets if I should ever need to replace the first two I used. The door stays closed now.

They are very small. the magnet is very strong but the adhesive is not that strong. They break very easily. I broke one just trying to get them apart.

I never realized there was such a difference in magnet strength. These are such a nice size. I added one to the lid of my new butter dish to hold the knife. lots more ideas for them. Wall stud finder, easier than the battery operated one and more reliable too!

Great magnet! Almost too strong! Clung to dishes from about 4-5 inches away!

The magnets are very strong and hard to pull apart once they clasp together and they can break if they clap together hard so I left the plastic inserts/dividers they shipped them with that are between each of the magnets so when they claps together the magnets don't slap each other hard on then wrapped electrical tape around each magnet with the plastic divider on each side of the magnets that are going to touch together, then used the included 3M double sided tape to adhere to the PetSafe door track on each side (inside and outside) and then matched up on the clear door flap the same way (inside and out) I wasn't worried about look so I didn't really take my time to make it look pretty just usable. I did this because my daughter's cat got out through the dog door and these magnets are stronger so the cat won't be able to push it open but my 15 lb Jack Russell terrier mix can't get in and out fine. Haven't tested it with the cat yet but I can see the strength difference and if the cat can still get out I will just add another magnet set in the middle of the track and door flap as I only did right in left sides only. Just a note thatit did not leave a gap on the sides. By adding it actually gave it more support seal better

Wow a bit to powerful for the mounting job that I did, but they did the job, I had no problems separating the magnets, always place them away from each other when separated because they will crawl to each other and snap back together, I can understand the problem others are having with them and I snapped one fairly easily , They could do with being thicker for their length which would overcome this, having said that they worked well { to well } for me after recessing them into my project, 5 stars because they are as advertised , good old 3m d/sided strips will hold them to the space shuttle.
