I've only snapped a few test photos but I'm very happy, not a professional or even really a hobbyist but for the money I'm really happy with this. It doesn't communicate with the camera so you need to turn on "release without lens" (On a6000 not sure on other models) and need to control aperature and focus on your own which will take some getting used to but is satisfying. Metal and quite hefty in weight, rings move really smoothly, overall 10/10 for me.

Overall great lens for the price. Sharp photos, nice bokeh. Focus ring is smooth and easy to use. Aperture ring is smooth. The only two things are the green-bluish chromatic aberrations, which are not too crazy at all an easily fixable in post, and it doesn't handle lens flares that well.I really enjoy using this lens. It has been on my camera a lot.

For the price you are getting a very well realised lens. Good center sharpness and totally usable edge sharpness. Excellent if you are keeping it wide open for portraits although it is a little soft so sometimes best to step to F2 or so.Colours are good and it renders a lovely image. It has that certain something that is hard to pinpoint in manual vintage lenses, maybe it's the softness, I think it's more that it's got character.Build quality at the moment is great. Very smooth turning aperture and focus rings. All metal. The fact that it's made for aps-c and for the e mount means no adapter rings like when I use old lenses which keeps the size down. This with the Sony kit pz lens is a very portable package!Have ordered the 50mm as well as its that good.For the money you can't be disappointed.

I use this with my Sony a6000 and I love it.It’s solidly built, the rings are quick, you’re not having to spin for days to get focus, and it suits the camera well.The picture quality so far is great, but it’s a manual lens so if your shots are out focus it’s not the lenses fault. It’s yours.Arrived quickly and in good condition.Very happy! 😁

Very good prime lens for the price you pay. As already expected it is a manual lens, as a family man it takes great photos but when the little critters starts running around better to use something with auto focus. Apart from that very good images.

Good quality, fair price, smooth focus and aperture rings, sturdy.Bokeh is acceptable on an aps-c sony mirrorless.

The product feels well made however the features are reflected in the price...they're non existent. If you got for the same in 7artisans at least it highlights where the focus points are, with this it's literally just a toggle and hope for the best. Give it credit where it's due the picture comes out crisp...that's if you get it in focus. Will definitely be going 7artisans even if the price is a little higher. Lesson learnt!

This lens has met my expectations. The performance is very good and has saved me spending £320 plus pounds for the Sony 35mms 1.8 lens.I,he only had this lens for less than a week but have tested it quite extensively on my a6000. First of I must emphasis that you must focus this lens very accurately I found that using leaking is not accurate enough and needs tweaking in the magnification setting.when I do this I get very sharp images.i,be set my picture to vivid with the sharpness at 3. This way I have had sharp and to me great colour rendition.The lens is well made.If you don't need the speed of auto focus this lens is a real bargain purchase and I'm sure become even more capable with practise.I'm now very tempted to obtain the smoke 12mm f2'8

Obiettivo completamente meccanico, paragonabile, sia per caratteristiche che per aspetto, a quelli in uso fino agli anni '70 (tranne che questo copre il formato APS-C per cui equivale ad un 52,5 sul 35 mm).La costruzione è in gran parte metallica e dà una buona impressione di solidità, buona anche la finitura, ovviamente la robustezza si vedrà col tempo.L'obiettivo non è molto ingombrante ma non è neppure un pancake. Le ghiere sono comodamente accessibili, inutile dire che servono spesso perché le impostazioni sono completamente manuali. La ghiera dei diaframmi ha il movimento continuo, cosa che a me piace molto. L'obiettivo può essere usato con l'automatismo a priorità di diaframma (la fotocamera non conosce il diaframma impostato ma può comunque valutare la luce), e può essere necessario abilitare la modalità di scatto senza obiettivo.La resa ottica è eccellente, con elevato livello di dettaglio, molta naturalezza e colori gradevoli. Ottimo il bokeh, non rilevante la vignettatura. La resa si mantiene buona anche a tutta apertura (un notevole f/1,7) ma il mio esemplare soffre probabilmente di un difetto di centratura che determina una curvatura di campo sul lato destro, per cui risultano a fuoco oggetti più vicini rispetto alla distanza di messa a fuoco impostata. Spesso questo non crea particolari fastidi ma si tratta pur sempre di un difetto che mi impedisce di assegnare le cinque stelle.Eccezionale il rapporto qualità prezzo (l'ho pagato 79 euro). Si tratta nel complesso di un obiettivo molto consigliabile per chi ha almeno le nozioni di base su tempi, diaframmi e messa a fuoco, inadatto all'utente occasionale.

Ich war vor dem Kauf etwas skeptisch, trotz guter Bilder von diesem Objektiv. Als ich das Objektiv in die Hand genommen habe war ich erstmal vom Gewicht überrascht, denn es ist ziemlich schwer. Deutlich schwerer als mein 16-50 Sony kit objektiv, obwohl das kit objektiv auch noch einen Motor etc verbaut hat und nochmals teurer ist. Die Verarbeitung ist 1A und komplett aus Metall... Selbst der Deckel ist aus Metall.Dachte ich mir:"dann können die Bilder aber erst recht nicht umhauen... Irgendwo müssen die ja gespart haben... Oder warum ist sigma etc so teuer?"So... Ich ging raus, habe ein testfoto geschossen und wurde von der Abbildungsqualität umgehauen.Ich bin von dem Objektiv mehr als nur angetan! Das ist jeden Cent wert, wenn nicht mehr!Lediglich wie die lichtsterne sind habe ich mir noch nicht angeschaut... Uninteressant für mich.Eine Sache habe ich aber trotzdem zu kritisieren... Der Weg von der 8er Blende zur 22er Blende ist gemein kurz geraten. Wobei ich nicht weiß ob dies normal so ist.

Ein lichtstarkes Objektiv für um die 80 Euro? Da habe ich ganz spontan aus einer Laune heraus und nur aufgrund des günstigen Preises zugeschlagen. Wer erwartet bei so einem Preis schon wirklich ein vernünftiges Objektiv? Durch die vielen positiven Bewertungen wird man da natürlich neugierig.Und ich wurde tatsächlich überrascht. Das Objektiv macht auf den ersten Blick auf jeden Fall eine hochwertigen Eindruck. Es ist komplett aus Metal, sogar der Objektivdeckel(!) und fühlt sich sehr gut verarbeitet an. Blenden- und Fokusring lassen sich sehr angenehm leichtgängig und mit dem "richtigen" Widerstand drehen. Die Blende lässt sich außerdem stufenlos verstellen.Auch die Bildqualität konnte mich tatsächlich überraschen und auch überzeugen. Offenblendig muss man natürlich einige Abstriche in Sachen Schärfe machen und muss auch Chromatische Aberrationen in Kauf nehmen.. Ab etwa Blende vier kann das Objektiv aber mit einer guten Schärfe überzeugen - für die meisten Anwender dürfte das absolut ausreichend sein. Bei dem genialen Preis ist das allerdings auch schon sehr streng betrachtet.Es gibt im Prinzip nur einen Kritikpunkt, den ich anbringen kann. Beim ersten Mal, als ich das Objektiv an meiner Alpha 6500 angebracht habe, ging das nur extrem schwergängig. Man musste fast schon richtig Kraft aufbringen, um das Objektiv am Bajonett zu drehen, bis es einrastet - als wäre dort einfach viel zu wenig Spielraum. Das hatte zur Folge, das sich tatsächlich kleine Metallsplitter abgeschabt haben, die dann auf dem Sensor gelandet sind. Zum Glück konnte ich die einfach wieder wegpusten. Ich hoffe einfach mal, dass ich da nur Pech hatte und das nicht der Normalzustand ist. Vielleicht war ich auch zu doof, und habe das Objektiv nicht richtig angesetzt. Andere Objektive lassen sich aber deutlich leichtgängiger anbringen - das Meike ist nämlich auch nach der Abschabung etwas schwergängig, was das angeht.Positiv:+ komplett aus Metal+ gute Verarbeitung+ angenehmer Widerstand von Fokus- und Blendenring+ stufenloses Blendenverstellen+ hohe Lichtstärke+ geringe Größe und gutes Gewicht+ überraschend gute AbbildungsqualitätNegativ- relativ unscharf bei offener Blende- Anbringen am Bajonett ist relativ schwergängigTja, was soll man bei so einem Preis noch sagen. Massive Kritik ist hier im Prinzip allein deswegen schon nicht angebracht. Wer sich da ernsthaft über die Schärfe, einen "fehlenden" Autofokus oder sonstiges beschwert, hat vermutlich irgendwo einen Nagel im Kopf sitzen, von dem er noch nichts weiß. Absolut spitzen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Ho utilizzato questo obiettivo per qualche mese, dopo aver visto recensioni "tiepide" su questo prodotto non avevo grandi aspettative. Tuttavia devo dire che per il prezzo pagato la qualità è sorprendente. L'obiettivo (che non ha autofocus) presenta una costruzione solida, è piccolo, leggero e abbinato alla mia sony a6000 fa una combo decisamente compatta. A mio giudizio offre un buon livello di dettaglio, già a f1.7. Anche il bokeh non delude a queste aperture. Delude invece la distorsione che non è poca anche se può essere corretta in postproduzione. Raramente compare qualche aberrazione cromatica, ma niente di esagerato. La resa dei colori non è "accesa", a volte sembra di usare una lente vintage, che per alcuni potrebbe essere un plus. Debole sicuramente in controluce dove si perde parecchio contrasto, con flare (macchie di luce) ogni tanto.L'uso del focus manuale è piacevole e si può essere molto precisi. L'obiettivo non comunica con la fotocamera (non ha i contatti elettronici) per cui non vi aspettate di vedere sui file prodotti da questa informazioni come la lente usata o l'apertura a cui avete scattato le foto. Inoltre consiglio di configurare il tasto personalizzabile con qualche funzionalità di assistennza alla messa a fuoco manuale (es focus magnifier) altrimenti è davvero difficile mettere a fuoco con precisione. La ghiera delle aperture è abbastanza rigida, non presenta scatti e si può controllare con poca precisione (in particolare da f8 a f22 si hanno pochi gradi di differenza, per cui non si sa bene se si sta scattando a f11 o f116). Se non potete fare a meno dell'autofocus sconsiglio questo obiettivo, se invece gradite il focus manuale o volete iniziare a provare, non credo questa lente vi deluderà.

Habe die Meike 35mm f1,7 nach langem Überlegen erworben. Ich bin professioneller Kameramann und suchte für meine Sony FS5 sowie meine Alpha 6500 eine kleine handliche Optik mit Emount. Ich drehe überwiegend mit Canon und Sigma Objektiven und zum Teil auch mit alten Zeiss oder Pentacon Objektiven mittels Adapter (M42 und Metabones Speedbooster Ulta EF-Emount). Da ich grundsätzlich manuell fokussiere, benötige ich keinen Autofokus. Für ein kleines Gepäck und wegen des Gewichts möchte ich gerne auf die Adaptierungen von EF auf Emount bzw von M42 auf Emount verzichten. Ich habe lange nach einer Alternativen gesucht und diese nun gefunden. Meine einzige Sony Optik ist die 18-105 F4 OSS. Diese Optik ist knack scharf aber hat eben nur Blende 4, dafür aber einen Stabi.Ich habe nun die Meike 35mm mit der Sony 18-105 verglichen unter gleichen Bedingungen, 35mm und Blende 4 an beiden Objektiven. Und was soll ich sagen, die Meike ist schärfer und hat etwas mehr Kontrast. Grundsätzlich sollen Festbrennweiten immer schärfer sein als Zoom-Objektive. Meike hat hier definitiv gute Arbeit geleistet.Nur muss ich sagen dass das Meike 35mm wirklich erst ab Blende 4 super scharf ablichtet. Bei Blende 1,7 tauchen je nach Motiv auch CAs (Chromatische Aberrationen) auf aber das ist bei dem Preis und einer Offenblende von f1,7 auch nicht verwunderlich. Da finden sich auch teurere Objektive mit den gleichen CAs. Bei Blende f2 sind die CAs jedoch so gut wie verschwunden.Zur Verarbeitung, die Meike 35mm ist zwar klein aber wieg gefühlt genauso viel wie die Sony 18-105 F4 OSS. Kein Plastik und kein Wackeln, auch nicht am Mount. Die Blende mit satten 8 Lamellen geht stufenlos und recht leicht, der Fokus geht nur etwas schwerer aber auch wie Butter und man hat "viel Spiel" beim Fokussieren da der Radius sehr gross ist, also von Unendlich bis in den Nahbereich (ca. 30cm) muss man schon ordentlich den Fokus drehen, beim Filmen finde ich persönlich das gut aber das mag jeder anders.Ich kann diese Optik wirklich empfehlen, überlege sogar schon die 50mm Version zu bestellen.
