We tried in the past other brands, but were very dry and flavorless. I saw this brand and thought about giving it a try, since my dad can’t use any other kind of flour but spelt. Surprisingly we found that it has a really good flavor and the tortillas last better without getting hard too fast.

I have been using this flour for 10 + years. I love it and use it for everything.Recently , I opened my first bag form my case of 6 and discovered my white flour was super husky.I sifted 3 cups for a pie crust and retained 1/2 a cup of husk.I have got in touch with purity foods and an eagerly waiting a reply. In the meanwhile I bought some really nice sifters from Amazon.I hope they make this right as I do not want to switch brands. Fortunately. the flour still performs great, just very time consuming.Bag is stamped use by Nov 08 24Update: very Happy, purity foods sent me 6 new bags of flour. Pizza tonite!!!

There were hard chunks of grain in every bag of the flour. I had to sift all the flour to get it out.

White spelt flour is hard to find and usually really expensive when you do. Since I cannot eat modern wheat and have to do all my own baking, I was delighted to find such a great value. It arrived promptly, just in time for Thanksgiving, and my guests were treated to delicious fresh, hot homemade rolls! I hope that this product will continue to be offered for such a great price because I will definitely reorder this!

The media could not be loaded. I have purchased this flour many times and I am never disappointed. This has quickly become my favorite flour to work with since going vegan. I've made tortillas, cinnamon rolls, nann bread, cookies, biscuits, pancakes... the list goes on and the possibilities are endless!
