I bought this box for my son. The kit came with a scart connector. Unfortunately my tv does not have a scart plug. I contacted Garden Secrets and were happy for me to return the item. I didn't want to return the box because it is so beautifully made. I also didn't want to order a wireless camera kit because most of the reviews implied that the camera's aren't great due to interference from other electrical items around the home. I ordered a usb video capture device from Amazon and successfully managed to connect the nest box camera directly to my computer, which seems a little more versatile than the scart connector. (USB 2.0 Video Capture Device. Convert Video+Audio from VHS, V8, Hi8, All Camcorders, Video Recorder, DVD player, Satellite TV, Freeview etc. Capture xbox360 & playstation3 in PAL 60 colour. Includes Arcsoft Showbiz 3.5 editing software. Upload videos direct to YouTube . Supports Windows XP/Vista + Windows 7 32/64, **Windows 8 /8.1 32bit and 64bit** and Mac OSX up to Mavericks (10.9.4) + *FREE AV cable & SCART adaptor*) Which cost around £20. I know this might seem like an added cost but I had already been looking at a way to transfer my old home movies to the computer, so I was in the market for this piece of kit. It is now, all working beautifully. Nesting box is just waiting for some inhabitants. Not only a great product but a great company to deal with.

Brilliant bird box, very well made and sturdy. Have just purchased a second one. The first one went up in June last year and so was too late for nesting but have had visitations from earwigs, a mouse! and a slug and then found that a blue tit has been living in there over the winter period! Not in the box itself but in the 'attic part' next to the camera for warmth. The little blighter eventually attacked the camera, untwisted the lens and threw it out of the box! We have now removed the 'attic section' and, after finding the lens eventually on the ground, returned it and tightened it up much tighter, so hopefully the tit will not be able to unscrew it. All this we were able to watch from the camera, until of course the lens was removed.We have already removed the 'attic section' in the new box, I hope it will not make any difference to the structure and stability of the box, at least I don't think it will.The tit has already returned to the box and is looking upwards to see where he has been evicted from??!? Incidentally my son has connected it up for recording whenever there is movement and I can see it from my laptop,. tablet and the TV. Don't ask me how, he is just brilliant at that sort of thing!

This was a gift for a man who loves both bird watching and gadgets...bingo! It arrived the day after ordering and was packaged well.The recipient was very pleased. Has not set it up outside yet but reports that the camera is working well. The birdhouse looked well made and sturdy.

I bought the nest box & feeder as a 25th wedding anniversary present for my husband. It arrived promptly, well packaged with everything needed to set it up. My husband loves it-especially with it being a feeder as well. The camera is small but gives an excellent picture and sound quality. Our only problem is where to site the box!!

We were quite pleased with the box and it was fairly easy to setup but the power cable is far too short. We ordered a lead to extend it but it did not fit so we have had to try a more conventional extension lead.

just perfect.arrived as promised, worked as promised, family delighted as promised. could not have wished for more. will certainly buy more from this suppler in the future.

Descent enough product. Easy to install. Clear image. Quite a hum on the audio - possibly down to the sheer length of cable and inadequate RF shielding.
